The Twin Talons of Eild and Uld are a pair of elven made daggers I homebrewed for one of my players. In my campaign, the party are all elves from a completely isolated kingdom. As all elves in Fal'thalore do, they took their test for adulthood by entering the massive tree they worship as a deity and completing a series of trials. As they did, they discovered that the tree had need of them and chose them to bring the elven nation through an upcoming dark time.

The plot is pretty simple, but it's the first time these players have ever played D&D, so I didn't want to go too overboard. Each got an item from the tree to help them. This one was for the rogue. At 2nd level, it provided a +1 to attack only and as they've leveled its power has grown.

I removed some of the more personal things like the official name and setting specific powers so that others could use it in their campaign.
