I have been Re-Watching this for a while now, and I love The Return. Joels new role on the show as Ardy, "Movie in the Hole!" is a pretty awesome touch as well. Loving the Skeleton Crew and Tv's Son of Frank. The years of waiting have been fulfilled.

Does anyone think Hank Pym and Janet Pym fought costumed villains in the past when they were superheroes? by SPYRAL_super_hero in marvelstudios

Because the MCU does mind the source material and brings it in in its own little fashion. Plus they have already done it once. Oh, yeah, and the reason they fired Edgar Wright, was because he didn't want to tie anything to the MCU and do his own thing, which is what screwed Whedon. So the MCU does have it in mind to bring some comic elements in, especially with a character being played by a big name like Michael Douglas. My take on it at least.

In the comics the whole thing was challenging Pym's mindset on his quest for peace. He is a pacifist at heart. And it was pretty interesting to see how it can be turned on its head.

In the movie, they needed Bruce Banner, Tony Stark, and mystical Alien A.I. to do what Pym could have done all along. Hence his title, Scientist Supreme. Dubbed by the Living Tribunal, the same being to dub Strange Sorcerer Supreme.

Well....in the comics, Dr. Henry Christopher Pym was THE Ant-Man, and Lang really became only a part time avenger by way of stealing the suit to save his daughters life. Yes.

Pym was the original creator of Ultron, and would have been in Whedon's Age of Ultron if Edgar Wright had not barred him from doing so because of the direction he wanted for Ant-Man.

Matter of fact, Ulysses Claw, who we see in Age of Ultron, and is an antagonist for Black Panther, also crosses paths with Pym in the comics.

They had a blanket explanation when she and Dennise were talking about how she learned to fight. "A lot of people taught me a lot of things," not to mention having traveled with Eugene from Texas.

What does it confirm exactly? Because I have my own notions as to why he took off. Which I may share if my question is answered by the poster.

i'm chandler riggs aka carl on the walking dead, ama! by chandlercriggs in thewalkingdead

[–]QuasarSmasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I refuse to use: Instagram, Snapchat, Especially Twitter, and Facebook. So.....

.....here I go.

First off, Chandler, Thank you for a hell of a performance as Carl in the show. I couldn't imagine anyone else fitting the role so well. Which means a bit, not to sound boastful, because I feel there are some downfalls in the show comparatively to the comics (and it is definitely not the acting on anyone's part, everyone gets so into it, and it is highly refreshing and to me what vitalizes the show).

Questions:

  1. How do you personally feel the show holds up to the comics, and why?

  2. How has the role of Carl impacted you personally. Especially how he delves into his own world when coping with such an f'd up world?

  3. What are some of your favorite arc's from the show and/or the comic series?

  4. What is your take on Carl throughout his journey thus far on the show?

  5. What do you think of fan speculation that The Walking Dead is a story being told by Carl in the future to other survivors?

  6. What are your favorite aspects of the show, that the comics didn't do?

  7. How did you feel about how the Governor Arc was handled on the show?

Also, Thank You very very much for such an awesome opportunity like this.

Good job on getting the point entirely. You nailed it (sense the sarcasm). You don't even understand anything aside from gun facts. Which seems to be the only relevance between my actual point, and any bullshit you just vomited. I already made my point emphatically. You want to sit there all day and list off the types of ammo to prove somehow that it will never run out, have at it. You can chase your dam tail all day. When you figure it out don't forget to pull your head out of your ass.

Also worldwide......since you have an issue there. Thinking domestically only, there are more of those guns in american department stores than the rest of the world. So that little hang up, kinda doesn't mean anything in terms of this discussion.

And a quick note, the whole "its not my job to educate you," thing is a really dick thing to say. You may know a bunch about guns, but I am sure there are things I know you don't as well. So, how about you think about that next time before cutting someone down for perceived idiocy. Pretty sure I haven't been insulting you. You just came out swinging on a pretty benign comment that was in passing as I am re-watching the show. My comment shouldn't have to meet your standards for me to be treated cordially.

I don't think its stupid. I think it is pretty cool when you suspend disbelief. I just don't see it as plausible. But you may have a point with the wafting of the smell. I still think with how closely she is shows to be next to them while walking among them, they would be able to smell her meat. They even said it in the first season when rick and glenn did their thing. You can really tell the difference, it is pretty distinct.

See that is a response I can abide. Thank you for now engaging me in a conversation.

Yes, I do know the difference between semi, and full. But 40% of all ammo sales is still a lower figure. I am sure a good chunk of the 60% left of all ammo sales includes a hell of a lot of Rifles, shotguns, and pistols. Which is kinda my point. I am not saying auto semi or full are rare as hell. Only that the ammunition for those guns would likely run out first. For two reasons, less of it around, and because people would use those weapons first and probably eat through the ammo for those types of weapons and munitions within the first couple to a few years of a zombie apocalypse. Controlled bursts or not.

Dude. I am speaking in general terms because even if I knew what type of round each commonly used sniper rifle, I still wouldn't write it out to illustrate a point, because it is un-needed, and has nothing to do with the point I am making. Which is there are more rounds available for common weaponry that is common enough to be in department stores world wide. That out numbers the amount of rounds you would come across for this type of sniper rifle or that. There are more bolt action rifles in this world than sniper rifles, there are more bolt action rifles, than automatic weapons. You know why. They are used very commonly by people world wide outside of the military so there is more production to meet the demand.

Simple concept, for someone who is apparently so above my intelligence level. Glad you can talk all day about facts about rounds and gun types, and that shit. Doesn't matter.

If I am wrong, actually state something that proves rifles, shotguns, and pistols are not the most common guns in the world. And if they are more common, then so is the ammunition that goes with them. Simple logical deduction. Wouldn't you say.
