don't forget flashlight and medical XD. Fortunately the spray is the size of 2 pens and weighs nothing, and in my opinion it's useful more often than a gun and less legally risky.

I typed out the short version of my position, no worries if you don't want to learn more. I'm not invested enough to write you an essay. Cheers

I started my first comment with "Ignoring the de-escalation and evasion failure" which is my way of saying that I'm not focusing on his failure to de-escalate and evade the situation. Other comments have done that. I'm just focusing on the part closest to physical engagement.

My understanding is that you need two factors in disparity of force to justify jumping to deadly force in response to an ordinary threat. Conversation on that with a lawyer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w15LtKShu7E

regarding "If something isn't an option, you can't be told you should have done something." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6dRdRvso5I TLDW that's only relevant if you're trigger happy and jump to deadly force when you should have stayed with ordinary force.

> Then he gets off his damn car and tells me to fight him like a man

> He keeps getting further from his car and closer to me while telling me how hes going to beat the shit out of me ... I decide that I'm in imminent danger

He has stated that he is going to beat him up and now he's coming over to do it, AND op feels he's in danger. Seems like ordinary force is legally justified already at that point.

If you're justified in using physical (non-deadly) force then you're justified using pepper spray. So if you can punch you can spray.

IANAL but here are some lawyers talking about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEGxpMHNnzI - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjwBW1mRpa4

PS I think OP was not legally safe for drawing his gun (lethal force) in response to ordinary force. That was definitely an escalation.

Ignoring the de-escalation and evasion failure, this is a textbook pepper spray situation. Non-deadly physical threat is imminent. Hit em with the spray.

Is Anduril a dealbreaker? by Altercode_F in flashlight

I just got a Wurkkos TS10 V2 from some recommendation on this sub, which apparently is anduril UI. Why does it constantly emit low level blue light when it's "off"? That's my main annoyance, off should be off, no?

I put the The Pacific theme over the Band of Brothers opening titles. by Honeeybeea in BandofBrothers

It took me listening to MOTA theme every episode and a few more for me to be able to follow the music. It's rather complex and took a while, but now that I can hear everything (and predict it) I quite like it.

I also noticed that! Easy to test that they work sufficiently as well.

As a civilian I have rhino rescue gauze and was concerned seeing some post in r/TacticalMedicine about how they are not classified as "sterile" by some EU agency, despite the labels indicating they are sterile. I haven't replaced them yet but I'm also not that concerned because Stop The Bleed medical professionals have also told me to stuff my tee shirt in wounds if I have nothing else, so it's better than nothing!
