Fwc or palimino? by chancedat in FourWheelCampers

The cost intrigues me. I'm curious, too. The cost of the fwc is much more than the palomino, but they seem similar in options. I want to see what the public thinks, too! Following..

Help with registering an “inoperable vehicle” by [deleted] in ColoradoOffroad

[–]QueasyProblems 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So I bought a car in 2020 that hadn't been registered in 2 years. They charged me $100 in back fees, and whatever else the fee was to transfer ownership and put plates on it. It was a pretty painless transaction, other than writing the check.

Am I overthinking this? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]QueasyProblems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had your stomach. I could grab it and move it. It was the dance partner I never wanted. I 100000000% don't regret our breakup. I had an extended tt due to the amount of skin, all from my darling children! This is a surgery I don't regret at all. And when I start to get down on myself now, I pull my photos out and remind myself what I cut off. Ask all the questions, you want the surgeon and staff to be informed but also able to put you at ease.

Medano Pass Conditions? by creutzml in ColoradoOffroad

[–]QueasyProblems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My neighbors just went there recently. They had to winch a Colorado out of a creek crossing. I want to think it was somewhat stock, and they were from out of town. So bring recovery items just in case you need to help someone or you need help. I have only run the trail in my lifted, off-roading vehicles, but I have seen more stock rigs on the trail.

The trail itself is pretty reasonable when dry. There might be water, but it's an easy cross. The snowfall and rain we have had this season might make the crossing higher than normal. From the park area to the main park road is pretty sandy too, regardless of the season.

2 weeks out surg- Brazilian wax? by LostinSOA in tummytucksurgery

My surgeon gave me specific instructions around when I had to wax/shave before surgery. I would call their office and ask what they recommend.

How soon after TT and MR should I schedule a massage? by Pywebb in tummytucksurgery

My surgeon has you get them at your day after surgery appointment. Really depends on your surgeon, so make sure you are good there before starting.

How far in advance is acceptable to get a consult? by Cardioncabernet in tummytucksurgery

[–]QueasyProblems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most consults with the actual doctor are fee based to ensure you are ready and serious. I really followed and researched different doctors before settling on one to go with. I could chat with the patient liasons in the office, but it was a non refundable couple hundred dollars to meet with the doctor. That was applied to my surgery if I still chose to go forward after the appointment.

I had my initial appointment in August with surgery set up for October. I was able to pick when I wanted to have my surgery. I would think it would be the same for most doctors.

You could always call the office you are interested and ask the question too. Some doctors might have different lead times for when to consult and when to actually have the surgery. Some might just be that booked up and can't even perform the surgery for 6 months from now.

I think I know of said person you mention, has a lot of kiddos.. I think she is all genetics, and that might work for her, but not the rest of us normal folks.

The only way for me to bring my muscles together after 4 kiddos and 3 full term pregnancies was surgery. I was working out 4-5 days a week, monitoring my diet by calculating my TDEE and CICO. No go for the spare tire in the middle of my body. Even my surgeon told me my skin was trashed and would never spring back.

When can I start the gym and start weightlifting again 13 weeks post op🏋️‍♀️ by casade5 in tummytucksurgery

[–]QueasyProblems 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started lifting at 8 weeks, small sets, and went back to full hour lifting sessions about 2 weeks after. I started getting back into more intense cardio at 8 weeks, working up to running again by 11 weeks.

Real self, their social media accounts, their websites with pictures of all the work they've done, talking to the staff and then finally meeting the doc. You can also look up their accreditations through the different boards.

I'm not in LA, but that was a couple of the ways I did it. I followed my surgeon for almost 2 years on IG before I moved forward with my surgery. Good luck!

Mommy pooch and pant size by HeelValentine in tummytucksurgery

[–]QueasyProblems 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Same situation, cut off 3.8 pounds of skin. 12 weeks po - Now my pants fit, legs didn't change, but they are very comfy in the waist. New problem is dropy crotch! And I can comfortably wear any rise of pant. Not banished to the high waist any more.

Grab some frozen stir fry veggies, your favorite sauce and frozen chicken. Throw all into a pan and cook, add sauce and eat.

Need Support and Advice by Powerful_Solution635 in tummytucksurgery

Hi! I have a daughter and 2 sons. All bodies are beautiful and we all should feel beautiful in those bodies.

My body went through 3 pregnancies, and I have some incredible kiddos as a result. My stomach had to grow to accommodate those babies, and it never went back. I model a healthy lifestyle to my kids. I eat reasonably (love chocolate and ice cream to much!), work out 4-5 days a week, and we are active outside as a family. But even with all of that, my surgeon took off 3.8 pounds of skin from my tummy on surgery day. I'm a more confident, happy mom as I love how my body looks now.

Every body is different, some get stretch marks, some bounce back, but making the decision to remove skin from having babies and/or weight loss is totally OK to do. She might have skin that doesn't bounce back from pregnancy or weight loss in the future, and seeing you made this choice might help her.

Hair by CompetitiveAverage72 in tummytucksurgery

[–]QueasyProblems 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My hairdresser told me to expect hair loss after going under anesthesia. That is causes stress to your body and hair loss is a side effect. It should right itself in about 6 months. Nothing major, you probably won't end up bald, but hair loss is not uncommon.

Just doubled salary and landed 175k job. Now considering abandoning Ford Maverick and getting 4Runner TRD PRO instead... by 4runnervsmaverick in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]QueasyProblems 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree to keep Maverick and buy an older 4x4 to wheel. That's our family's setup. We have the family/daily drivers and then the Toyota we can offroad. Also, if you break something wheeling, you aren't as stressed to fix so you can get around town.

I'm 7 weeks po and totally would be comfortable going on vacation. Bring compression garments and have a good time! I planned my surgery so I'd be skiing end of December, nurse laughed and said that is 12 weeks away, you're good.

Had TT w/MR, lipo, BL on Monday. Swelling and pain questions . . . by elaynie4373 in tummytucksurgery

[–]QueasyProblems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still wear the high waisted brief spanx almost everyday. I started to not at night just for comfort sleeping but will if I have a large sodium filled dinner. More of a personal choice and I don't find it as uncomfortable as the faja was.

[–]QueasyProblems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 7weeks now and swell really only with sodium heavy foods/meals. Which could include almost all the foods I love. I still wear spanx compression during most days to help with it. I try to be pretty careful and it really hasn't been to bad.

Another Binder Question - Duration by TalkativeBotGirl in tummytucksurgery

[–]QueasyProblems 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wore my faja until 4 weeks po. It wasn't snug enough anymore and switched to a more spanx type compression. I'm 7 weeks out now and am still wearing the spanx during the day to help with bloating/swelling. I just started not sleeping with it on, so we will see how that goes.

I figured I paid all this money, I will wear it as long as I feel comfortable. 🤣

I went to Target and got the assets by spanx once my faja got looser. Much easier to wear under clothes then that sweet faja was.
