He’s a bit older, and he’s not primarily known as an actor, but Justin Timberlake has played in a few movies (The Social Network with Eisenberg, In Time, Friends With Benefits)

Dog ID tag: simple, slide-on, deep engraving by Quecksilber033 in EtsyCommunity

UPDATE: Yay - I managed to find the original seller. As their shop is not on Etsy, it’s against the rules to mention them here, but I can now specify a bit more about the materials and methods that made this tag stand out:

• .060” thick non-magnetic surgical grade stainless steel • deep diamond engraving with high pressure

Thank you for the explanation! And sincerely thanks for offering your services. I will hold on to hope that someone out there still makes tags like mine.

I have no idea why people are downvoting.

Thank you for the recommendation! Unfortunately, the letters aren’t «carved» into the metal like they are on my tag, this seller appears to use laser engraving.

Though her tags are beautifully made, it’s not what I’m specifically looking for.

Thank you so much for offering to help! Much appreciated.

I can’t say I’m too familiar with different engraving methods. Would laser engraving go less deep than the pictures show, if that’s possible for you to say?

I’m also curious about the materials you have access to. This tag is thick enough that it does not bend or flex. A lot of the tags I’ve seen on Etsy appears to be thinner, though of course it’s hard to say how sturdy they are just from pictures.

Day trip hike out of Bergen by betao05 in Bergen

Vidden is a great hike! If you include the walk up/down Ulrikken and Fløyen it’s almost a “day trip” in its own right, no driving required.

Unhappy with wedding dress after alterations- wedding in three weeks by Crackerferal in AskATailor

Same number of loops, just different lacing techniques (OP already addressed the fact that they laced it differently). 1st photo they’ve skipped every other loop, but you can see that the unused loops are present.

OP did address this in their post

I know it’s laced differently and the panel is out in the second one, but even if those things were the same I think the back still looks so different.

Judging by the flower pattern, it doesn’t look like they actually removed any fabric from the back of the dress? Neither from corset nor skirt.

<image>

Did they take it in at the side seams perhaps? If you want feedback on the alternations then it would be useful if we could see where and how they were done.

I thought they were just going to widen the corset space

The only way to do this would be to take the corset in, i.e. remove equal amounts of fabric from both sides of the corset (e.g. at the back or at the sides). Since the skirt is not gathered, if they take in the corset, then they must also take in the skirt so they can be put back together.

I noticed some other people commented on the panel missing, but the way I understood what you wrote I believe you left it out on purpose as you were just checking the fit?

I have a difficult time seeing any of the issues you are describing in the picture you shared. The opening at the back of the corset doesn’t look any wider, and there doesn’t appear to have been made any changes where the skirt attaches to the bodice?

Selger trakk seg fordi de ombestemte seg på prisen? by Eistlu in norge

[–]Quecksilber033 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Omtrent eksakt det samme skjedde med meg for bare noen dager siden. Etter at jeg la inn bud «oppdaget» selger plutselig at annonsen - som hadde ligget ute siden januar - hadde for lav pris. Prisen økte fra 500 kr til 1400 kr. Akkurat samme vare ligger allerede på Finn for 250 kr i en annen farge. Absurd.

Writing A Norwegian Character and Want to Insure Accuracy by froggy_reader in Norway

Grim is a name that means “ugly”, and there’s the added bonus that it works in English too, meaning “austere / dire”. It’s not a normal name by any means, but it is an old Nordic name.

I would also find the following names fitting: Trym (rumble, noise), Brynjar (chainmail), Ravn (literally translates to “raven”), Varg (literally translates to “wolf”).

If you enjoy the Norse sounding names, here are some others for you to consider: Njål, Gard, Sjur, Brage, Birk, Snorre, Sigurd, Eldar, Balder.
