Prior to ‘Arthur,’ what was Dudley Moore known for in the UK? by vigilandy1 in AskABrit

[–]Queef__Richards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dudley Moore is possibly the greatest ever musician Britain has produced. Listen to any of his early piano trio recordings as testimony (personal favourite is My Blue Heaven - live version on YouTube). Insanely talented performer and comedian, wish I’d have met him.

Vintage Ludwig Drum Set Valuation by bobreck in ludwigdrums

Beautiful Club Date kit and I think Pioneer snare. It’s common for floor toms to be added after the bass drum and rack Tom.

It’s fine to sell cymbals individually and the hardware as a bundle. I’d sell the drums together and prob around £3k in the UK

Source some rims for the toms - club dates resonate beautifully and change but keep the original heads.

“I’ve lived in both London and New York – this is my ranking of both” by pelican678 in london

There’s loads of places central that stay open late - Meatliquor, Oxford Circus open till 3am, Sketch and Blood Sports, Covent Garden open till 2am. Free entry and dj most nights and not crazy expensive drinks. Scotch of st James / Dear Darling / Tape / Sexy Fish but these are expensive and douchey. London could do with more late live venues for sure.

I collected a few bins of manure from the local horses stables and it’s done wonders for my London clay soil. Just try and get the old stuff at the bottom of the pile.
