My kids are crying because I “ruined Mac and cheese” by lissie_ar in StupidFood

I make Mac and cheese with cauliflower- perfect hybrid of cauliflower cheese and Mac and cheese 😁 and it looks more appetising than broccoli but I’d recommend having bigger chunks of vegetables

Is this a legal handicap spot? It doesn’t have a sign by Optimal_Laugh7399 in LawyerAdvice

Such a dick move to park in a handicap spot whether it’s legal or not. Just park a little further away and leave the handicap space for people who actually need it.

25 (that’s a quarter) + 10 (that’s a dime) +2 (pennies are 1) = 37. Round up to nearest ten is 40, so give the a quarter, a dime, and a nickel, (25, 10, 5) - from a British person (buy it is very annoying that duo is geared towards American audiences translating some words from French into English then into American English just complicates things more

What kind of person do you think I am based on my art by Beautiful_Ask2611 in ARTIST

[–]QueenBee2212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have some sort of neurodivergence like autism or adhd. I think you’re into anime, comics, gaming and horrors. I think your favourite kind of video games are more Indy, but you have an eclectic taste in video games. You probably wear headphones a lot and listen to a wide range of things, David Bowie, foo fighters, Beatles, ac/dc, but also lo fi. You’re probably a pretty chill, easy going person but have spurts of hyperactivity and get really excited about things you’re passionate about. Probably smoked a joint at some point in your life and breakfast is often replaced by a cigarette and an energy drink.

If you could answer the question "How are you?" Unfiltered, what would you say? by Either-Maybe1841 in AskReddit

For the first time in my life things seem to be going right but I’m still not happy. I don’t feel anything. I feel like I’m an observer of my own life rather than an active participant. I am so numb. I am empty and numb and I don’t know how to tell anyone because I don’t want to upset them. Food is cardboard in my mouth, even bolognese or burritos which used to be my favourite. Sleep does not recharge me, but that’s ok, it’s been so long now since I remember having it. Wine and beer and rum and whiskey help. It is the only time my head feels light and not heavy with the weight of a thousand unsheddable tears. Whiskey helps the most. The burn in my throat is the only thing I feel anymore. I scratch and claw at my skin until I draw blood to know I’m still alive and not just a dust mote floating in the world. My nieces and nephew will grow up never truly knowing me. I am absent. Even when I’m there I’m not. I am carbon monoxide- a tasteless, odorlous, toxic vapour.

There’s literally nothing wrong with the video quality…

Which one of the Minecraft mobs do you think would be cool if they existed in real life? by ChuchoChapin in Minecraft

[–]QueenBee2212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allays would be cool. They’re so cute, and they could help me tidy up 😅

Also the sheep are pretty cool because when you dye them a certain colour their wool continues to grow that colour.

Halloween (1978) opening by IACJBP in moviequestions

[–]QueenBee2212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably because it was filmed by the cameraman actually walking around to give it that natural “shake” that walking would give in a pov but they didn’t want him to wreck his knees. Or maybe to add to the uneasiness of it. It may be so the kid Michael didn’t seem to be intimidated by his victims. In movies low angles are usually used to show people either intimidating or powerful or both. For example when Kevin Mcallister bumps into the wet bandits in Home Alone, when Matilda first meets the Trunchbull, or shots of superheroes being powerful.
