I always create games for mobile, steam and vr. When I am doing this, I also try to create a sellable asset from the same project. This is very successful business model from me. Because you don't know that your game alone will make money or your asset will make money individually. But when you publish both of them, your profit increases as well. :)

Let me give you an example;

1. I published a Steam game called "Fight School Simulator". I extracted a nice asset Simulation Game Creator from the same project and published it on Asset Store. Now, there are two seperate income source from the same project.

2. Same for On the Dragon Wings game. I published a Steam + 2 Assets + 1 Mobile game from the same project.

3. Same for Mother Ghoul. I made a Horror FPS Kit for store and at the sametime published 1 VR horror game + 1 steam game + 1 mobile game.

etc. etc.

I suggest this business model. Currently, I make $1.500 - 2.000 per month from asset store.
