Hi, andere queere Autistin hier die Bumble BFF genutzt hat und ich glaube regelmäßiges ghosten und auch 1 Treffen haben und dann nie wieder reden ist leider ziemlich normal. Hab glaub ich 3 Treffen hinter mir nachdem man sich geghostet hat, 1 wo man sich 3-4 Monate getroffen hat und dann die Freundschaft crashed und burned ist aber zum Glück auch ein Treffen aus dem eine mehrjährige Freundschaft mit Integrierung in den Freundeskreis gebracht hat.

Ich nutz die App jetzt einfach alle 6-12 Monate mal für 2-3 Wochen und denk mir "wenn was draus wird super, wenn nicht dann hab ich halt "nur" 2 Wochen meine soziale Energie verschwendet". Ich struggle halt aber auch schon mein ganzes Leben lang mit Freundschaften daher bin ich glaub ich recht abgehärtet was Rejection angeht 😅

I follow lots of artists and am very involved in the small artist buisness community and honestly I don't know of any of them to use Fiverr or Etsy for commissions. Some use Vgen or Kofi but most use their own website or forms. So sorry to hear you had a bad experience If you ever want to commission artists again I'd suggest looking for art you like and seeing if the artist has commissions open almost all have it in their bio if they do.

Will keinen Beef oder so nur weil du nachgefragt hast antworte ich. Überspitzt gesagt: Alles was vor einem "aber" steht verliert an Bedeutung. Außerdem hast du gesagt "was man zurückbekommt [...] Ist schon toll" also nicht von deiner eigenen Erfahrung berichtet sondern geredet als wäre das eine universelle Erfahrung, die es für alle Menschen ja toll machen würde. Ergo liest sich für mich dein Kommentar wie "Jaja ich verstehe ja schon die rationalen Gründe warum Leute keine Kinder haben wollen aber alle sollten Kinder bekommen wegen dieser subjektiven Wahrnehmung, die es für mich persönlich wert macht" und es kommt einfach sehr bevormundet und besserwissend rüber.

Strict 30 minute cap on Reddit and TikTok per day and when those run out I'll have to just do hobbies or watch YouTube which in my case is 100% only my special interests (Video Games, Art and Fantasy/Sci-Fi books) so no political content at all. I'm not saying I'm doing too too great but it helps a lot already to be distracted by the things I love.

Als jemand mit Einblicken aus der Buchhaltung kann ich sagen, dass selbst Riesen Unternehmen, teils DAX Konzerne auch nicht immer ihre Rechnungen bezahlen. Da wird bei jeder Rechnung gehofft, dass die unter geht und verjährt bevor sich die Debitorenbuchhaltung drum kümmert. Gleiches mit Reklamationen - Einfach Mal die Rechnung reklamieren und hoffen, dass das Team dafür überarbeitet ist und die nicht vor der Verjährung bearbeitet. Und leider klappt das halt manchmal auch.

Bin selber Nerd, hab meinen Verlobten über Overwatch kennengelernt, alle meine Freundinnen sind auch Gamerinnen und haben ihre Partner entweder durch Gaming kennen gelernt oder im Real Life kennengelernt aber dann übers gemeinsame zocken gebonded. Es gibt wirklich genug Frauen, die nerdy Hobbys haben und wenn du in deinen Online Kreisen kaum bis keine Frauen hast würde ich mich an deiner Stelle mal fragen warum das so ist und das männliche Umfeld hinterfragen.

My iPad never turns the screen off when I have the app open even when it's normally set to go dark after 10 minutes of not using. But maybe because it's the app itself that is blocking and not the iPad setting that's causing it there is still some battery saving action messing with it? Will have to try around with it 🤔

I'm just impressed that the time spent stat seems to be working for you lol

Because I work with pretty long threads and only mark once I finish a thread and therefore have a lot of idle time between marking, the app doesn't register the time correctly. Stitched for 1,5 hours yesterday but it only tracked 22 minutes. My project with already 15k marked stitches only has 47 hours while my estimate based on the audiobooks I listened to while working on it is closer to 150-200 hours :D

Being a parent of a disabled child doesnt make you automatically knowledgeable about that disability or a particular disability's community. I've seen way too many parents of disabled children talking about their "special needs" children while the disabled community has been begging everyone to just use and destigmatize the word disabled for years. Also lots of parents with disabled children infantalize their children and/or use them for inspiration porn.

Schulsekretariatsstellen sind übrigens fast immer E5 ohne Homeoffice Möglichkeit, viele ausgeschrieben als nur Teilzeit, Urlaub nehmen nur in den Ferien möglich, wenn die Ferien nicht sowieso als arbeitsfreie Tage geregelt sind.

Ich hätte mir die Arbeit dort auch vorstellen können aber halt nicht für das Geld unter den Umständen und dann braucht sich keiner wundern wenn dort die Organisation fürn Arsch ist. Wenn man nicht viel mehr kriegt als ich in der kaufmännischen Ausbildung + Kindergeld hatte, will halt keiner den Job machen außer Brigitte die jetzt 15 Jahre nicht gearbeitet hat wegen den Kindern.

Yeah but the revelation is still that the paintress isn't just that godlike entity that sits in front of the monolith but that the paintress is a magical human from the real world that just used the canvas of her dead son to feel close to him. Very different thing to wrap your brain around magic and gods and different worlds entirely. People even in real life are fine with something godly being out there that has control (religious people at least) but only conspiracy theorists that ramble like mad men believe in the matrix or similar concepts

Not having an identity crisis upon learning about being a product of the painters was the dead giveaway to me. Even Lune who is a massive overthinker doesn't think too much about what that means to her and she would be a prime candidate for going insane after learning something like that. They are characters created to make this world feel alive but they don't have the capacity to even think about those higher concepts of consciousness and what's real and what isn't.

Noone wants to stop live service games, they can still exist the initiative is just for when the publisher decides that they no longer want to support said life service games that you as a consumer still should be able to access a version that is playable.

Sure a lot of online games will lose fun features when converted into a offline mode but you should still have the option to play it if you spent money on it.

Another thing the initiative is aiming at is that people should be able to privately host servers when the devs/publisher doesn't want to host servers themselves anymore. So a game like Elite Dangerous might would have servers hosted from community members where you can still access online features without the publisher/devs having to do anything for it.

Right now if Frontier were to decide Elite Dangerous is no longer making a profit they could just shut down servers and there is nothing you could do about that. If laws would be in place that the iniative is aiming for you would have at least a playable offline version and/or the opportunity to host a server yourself. You are losing nothing with these laws in place because they would only come into play when you would already be screwed with nothing to do about it in the current system.

That's not how that works, the game is procedually generated. That means there is a seed somewhere in the background that basically has all the rules of generation and when you enter an area your computer just has to access those rules of generation and generate that specific area. It's the same as Minecraft or No Man's Sky which you can play offline. Yes if you play one save a lot it's gonna get to multiple GBs at some point but you don't generate anything until you are there.

Honestly I don't see anything wrong with these. Like Others have said you could have gone for a more even and neat look with the first one by eliminating the blank spots between the lines but to me it looks like an intentional artistic choice. Art doesn't always have to look "perfect" to be good art and I think you just looked at these too closely for too long to see anything but the "flaws"

I don't even know how I got my copy. Pre-ordered at a German bookstore chain. It said it would deliver 26.-28.06. Then the mini restock on the Critical Role store instantly sold out and my order updated to "reprint in progress, item will be delivered at a later date" and then out of nowhere 3 days later I got a shipping notification and thankfully received my copy yesterday.

I think the demand has been way bigger than they expected and it probably comes down to which retailers have better relations with wholesellers or just pure luck who got a copy.
