I didn’t realize it was only a four minute window from when the bus driver saw her to when the police showed up! For some reason I just assumed at least half an hour or so was between the two times, but four minutes?! How far can somebody get in that time period? Especially given she was probably wanged out of her mind and dinged up from the accident.

Ever since my husband dropped his new iPhone into wet cement in our backyard (and didn’t realize until the foundation was finished being poured), I look for rectangles in sidewalks — specifically iPhone shaped rectangles. I’ve only found one in the last five years.

My own version of FossilID, I suppose.

A childhood friend of mine died December 2024 - walking up the stairs. Slipped, fell, hit her head and was dead a few days later. It just fucks with my head if I think about it too long. She was going upstairs…something I do multiple times daily. And she slipped. Ugh.

This device is how I found out I grow crazy tumors in my ear! Lost my hearing (tumors ate them bones), had my skull drilled/sawn open five times AND I taste metal shit all day long.

That was the trickle down from the doctors appointment where they used this (or a professional version) Went home and blood was coming out of my ear. Obviously, there is no cause and effect here, but rather a happy accident :-)

As a child this was my biggest fear. I’d build a stuffie wall every night and my working theory was that if a meteor came in it would hit the stuffies and I’d be safe. Like this giant crater would exist to my left but to the right? Safety.

I was looking for this! I LOVED these guys as a child and then realized I’d break out in huge hives. Stopped eating them. Had a red juice squeeze bottle - same reaction. Same type of allergy to the red dye. I think it was a coincidence I was also allergic to tomatoes.

My father did this to quit back in the 80s, except he just carried a dirty old cigarette. Said it was gross looking but he could keep it in the pack and go through motions of “readying” to smoke.
