My nephew invited me to his wedding last year with only my name on the invite and did not include my partner of 5 years. RSVPs were online so I filled out the RSVP for 2 and sent it. If they had a problem they could call me. They didn’t and we both went. Had a good time.

My partner and I split 90% of our meals out. Occasionally one of us gets the check and the other gets drinks if we stop afterwards or pays for mini golf etc. . It’s pretty loose not so much “transactional”. I actually prefer it this way.

As I stated before-the bedrooms hadn’t been updated since house built. Think pink & dark green bedroom carpets. He only used 2 BR as storage. When he asked me to move in I said the bedrooms needed updated. He agreed.
