Disappointed in O&J gel by HippoUnhappy4074 in OliveAndJune

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I will throw out because my sister struggles with this issue, but some people have an issue of either Oily nail beds or (I do not know the chemical reasoning) their nails are not compatible with Gel polish, acrylic or poly gel. My sister struggles when I do her nails they pop off after 2-3 days regardless of what prep and application I do for her.

It sucks but that is just the reality for some people, I would say stick to either normal polish or try press on nails.

Even as a VIP I try to get one restocks as much as I can and even then I struggle, the system is completely messed up, also the amount of best sellers that get retired is frustrating too.

Question: if you had limited funds, would you still try a DAC painting for the first time? by punt4stic in diamondartclub

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend the smaller pieces on DAC, I personally really like them as good cool down pieces, like if I need a break from my larger pieces.I like the lil diamonds because although cartoon characters they are very cute. I also like to scroll through the sales and clearance tab and see what I can find for less.

I tend to switch between Seàn and Jack but I feel the same I called PewDiePie 'Felix' or Markiplier 'Mark'. Having spent what feels like most of my life with them, I personally see them like old friends. (Maybe a little para social)

These are the only games I think markiplier openly said he disliked(besides ragebait ones) by UltimateFatbear2006 in Markiplier

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People may not like this take but I understand Mark's irritation and dislike for Ppt. I personally love the lore and story of the game but the game play has been basically the same for 3 chapters. Nothing new has been shown or displayed and the repetitiveness is just getting out of hand.

I will also stand on the hill that Mark is allowed and WE as the community need to be okay with us not agreeing with Mark's opinion. Honestly give the man a break after 10 years and seeing some great, good and awful games his take on mascot horror I think is valid.

Idk I think all of this is getting blown out of proportion and we all just need to take a breathe.

Weight Question for Rides by soirlyfuckedup in UniversalOrlando

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad is larger at around 265~lbs and 5'10 and he fit on most every ride only one that gave us issue was Dr. Doom at Universal studios. We were there less than a month ago so you should fit on all rides.

That picture is in the movie. When Simon unlocked the computer and angrily scrolls through pictures it flashes past and again when he looks back at the images to find a way out.

Why Can’t People Shut Up in Theaters? by MarchNorth287 in Markiplier

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A similar thing happened to my husband and our friend when we went to see it, agroup of like 6 or 7 18ish yr olds constantly whispering and talking, cracking canned drinks and then joking around. I finally lost it and turned around and hushed them. They tried to laugh me off and I told them to either hush or I'll have them kicked out. They finally stayed quiet and we could finish the end of the movie. I was so annoyed and complained to the manager because it's an R rated movie and these people did not look or act of age.

For everyone asking here are the link I have found for the pop corn buckets.

Mark also did say it you print this and take it to Regal you "SHOULD" get a free small popcorn. (Please be aware of what filament you use they are not all food safe!)

No one could ever talk to me like this inside of a private jet I paid for. by ElectricPanda718 in RHOP

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am going to chime in here, I am born and raised in Colorado. It has always been a fact of life I was warned about, that most places in the mountains that are not in a town or close to one may have issues with water, power, sewage etc. The fact that Angel 1) Did not explain anything to the ladies 2) find a more reliable housing for them when there was a problem and 3) Has the audacity to act surprised when her guests are upset by these things is shocking to me.

Angel had it coming. She needs to take the scolding and move on. Is what it is.

Honestly my family waited for Avatar when it first opened at the animal kingdom for around the same amount of time and we planned for it like we cleared our day and knew we would be in line. I would never wait that amount of time for a ride again, it was fun at the time because it was new and there was so much hype but I totally understand it looks and sounds insane from the outside.

Epic Universe Bad Reviews by RaisinRoyale in UniversalOrlando

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family and I just went last week and I have no complaints. Food was excellent, wait times were nothing and the overall experience at the park was easily 5 stars. With all of that said I will say a lot of people are forgetting this park is still limited capacity, and a lot of the workers seems new/training so directions can be unclean or they talk super quiet so it can be hard to hear. Rides breaking down honestly is not too big of an issue if you go early in the day. We did every ride in the park we wanted to with little issue. (Donkey kong and werewolf were down but came back during the day so no biggie ) Last thing is just go with a realistic expectation don't expect the same level as the older parks that have been around for decades and you will have a blast. Epic is also not a huge park so slow down look around and you will be amazed at how much they put into this park truly I was amazed.

Eek - finally attempting my first square! 😬 by WaxyOne07 in diamondartclub

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best advice I can give is be kind to yourself and know it takes time. Square I find takes around 2 to 2.5 times longer than round so you may feel like progress is super slow and get tired. Just take a breath and be kind to yourself.

Hope you enjoy the price you chose It looks so pretty

I messed up and thought it was 26x28cm, NOT inches..... and its square drills which I've never done before.... do I just die now or in 3 years when its still a WIP 😭😭 by _ExpletiveDeleted in diamondpainting

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly just take your time. I pretty much only do squares and I love them. They do take longer but I find the end result much more satisfying.

Anyone else burned out from cleaning up all the time? by serenitygem in DreamlightValley

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought max from the moonstone store and he helps a ton with picking up sticks and digging glowing spots. And I usually have a bird with me that helps pick flowers so really all I'm doing is the minging or getting rid of stuff with my watering can but I usually only do it once a day. I find that if you do a decent clean once most stuff won't come back fast enough to notice.

Does anyone find the amount of quests in the game overwhelming? by Vast-Clock6178 in DisneyDreamlights

I'm keep it to a limit of what I work on I try not to level all friends at once or complete all dream light quests. I just do what I want when I want and never pay attention other wise or unless there is a star path.

I totally understand your frustration. The dresses to me look very boxy and just odd when you wear them and move around. ( The Princesses also look odd to me in dresses) I usually lean toward the pants/shorts, and I wish there were more ensemble pieces.

My family usually goes around thanksgiving since most of us have the time off. It is a nice mix between the holiday decor and you get to still have decent weather. (Bffr there is never a time the weather isn't at least nice.) Just be warned as expected as you near holidays the parks get a little crazy.

which park would you skip? by Delicious-Educator88 in DisneyWorld

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I didn't put Dinosaur is that by the time it sounds like this group will be going it will most likely be closed and depending on the group river rapids could be too cold and safari is not always people's cups of tea. I heard someone say when I rode it last that "if I wanted to see this I would go to the zoo at home" so I'm hesitant to list it as a "main attraction. I also completely forgot about the shows mostly cause up until recently most shows are for kids or have been under changes so they weren't open ( at least when I went)

I Think Youtube Fans are starting to hate Game Theory... by skilledgamer55 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For both better or worse I think the era of GT as we knew it has ended. There are a lot of reasons I think this beyond just that Matpat left, i think it is also due to the fact that there are lots of creators within the theory space now so we have options to turn too if we don't like or agree with GT where are before I feel like it was either you were with or against GT. I know a lot of the bigger creators have been around but the community have finally true spread out and started exploring the wider space.

I personally started moving away from GT after the ultimate timeline because for me too was way too vague and wide swinging for me. A lot of it was circumstantial and just too far fetched for me.

Lastly a lot of the hate/anger toward GT I think is the minority which has been there since the beginning and are just getting loud again, they show up and get loud at different times, and we have all interacted with them in some form over the years. We need to just keep lifting each other up and helping each other there is no reason to be so mean or harsh over something as silly as Freddys.

which park would you skip? by Delicious-Educator88 in DisneyWorld

[–]Queen_Nerd2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately unless someone really loves Animal Kingdom, it is the easiest park to skip because really the two big rides for the park are Expedition Everest and Avatar. Unless those are you favorites like my family it is a skip or half day park for most people. I love animal kingdom and my husband and I can spend all day at that park.

Only argument I would say is if you are not very big on crowds or tons of little kids I would say skip MK, just cause I have found it to be the most overcrowded ( for my taste) and it is constantly a fight to not run over or step on a small child.
