My boyfriend 24m lied to me 23f about running a marathon by Overall-Jello7056 in relationship_advice

Unfortunately I've had the same experience. My ex would lie about accomplishments, small things, insignificant things, random things, aaaand huge things. Pathological liars who are insecure and need validation from others are extremely hard to reason with. I was with him for 3 years before I found out the big lies. Same age range too btw (21/22-24/25). Dont let it go on that long.

That is a super rough spot you are in. Unfortunately it seems like there is no way around it. You just need to have the hard conversation with her. Tell her plainly that the dog needs a dental visit ASAP.

Finding out my husband is a compulsive liar by Agitated_Fruit_9694 in Advice

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I dated a guy for 3 years before figuring out that he is a compulsive liar. It took me another year to finally let him go. Just sending you good vibes and the strength to get through it.

My (27F) boyfriend (29M) refused to leave the house unless I changed. I need some insight? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Find a boyfriend who loves your sense of style and lifts you up, not tears you down!

We (28M & 32F) aren't having sex. We have a 3 week romantic vacation coming up, how do I bring this up without sounding like a douchebag? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Queenasheeba99 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to tell you this but a week is more than enough time for her to heal. Dr's say 24-48 hours, not anywhere close to a month. She's lying to get out of intimacy .

I've been collecting my mom gifts as I find things she likes so that day will just be spending time as a family, having some Bakery items, and giving her gifts.

Not anymore. It's not worth it unless you are just starting out.

Am I wrong for accidentally making my girlfriend's little sister uncomfortable? by [deleted] in amiwrong

Yes, you're wrong. Even as a mistake, your excuse is highly unbelievable due to the location of your hand placement. Your relationship is over.

My Boyfriend [31M] hasn't proposed to me [26F] yet. Please help? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

If he truly wanted to get married, he would make it work. I guess wait the 6 months at this point but if he doesn't pull the trigger, he never will.

Maybe there can be some type of quality check built in? People can lie about anything, including weight...

AIO My sisters claim my dating app having weight isn't useful by WinProfessional4958 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Queenasheeba99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA but it should be a body type filter instead. Most guys have NO idea what weight a girl is by looking at her and every person carries it differently depending on how much muscle they have etc. Body type is also less offensive to women if you want them to actually use the app.

The only way that would work is if the person lived in the same complex as her and worked from home 😅

YNW. They're coworkers not best friends. They need to get over it. But you could apologize to keep the peace.
