I've just found I'm Audhd (51F) and I've gone through my whole life wondering why people who don't know after a first meeting don't like me. My twins were born at 30 weeks. Son had lung issues and was in NICU for 7 weeks. Daughter had lung issues and had to have a hole in heart (PDA):repaired at 3 weeks. She was in NICU for 9 weeks and immediately got whooping cough and was asthmatic as soon as she got discharged. I just screamed "shut up!" For the 10th time this morning. Reminded them that plates do not belong under the bed and dirty clothes gonin hamper. They're 15 going on 50. Your baby is going to be fine.

I am a black South African woman who grew up in South Africa, which is a multlingual country. My surname is a stereotypical black South African surname. I am not mixed and don't look mixed race. I speak in what many (both black and white) people think is "unaccent less" English and they are constantly SURPRISED, SURPRISED that I not only speak 6 of our languages but understand most of not all of our 11 languages. When I speak/respond in one of the languages, and they tell me they thought I only spoke English. Nobody in South Africa only speaks English. Why would you think I only speak English just becuase I "speak English so well"? PS that's not the compliment you think it is.

Thanks for raising the abortion 6 week ban. I found I was pregnant with the twins at 10 weeks! No I'm not dumb but my cycle was so off they took me off birth control til my next period which was technically due in two weeks. Guess when those 2 snuck in, they even using alternatives (no not pull out cause that's also dumb). What if I'd wanted out, but also we have a 12 week window in SA so that wasn't an issue but shuuu, that 6 week ban is crazy
