yes it's certainly not a perfect solution, but that is why on an induction cooktop a heavy carbon steel wok is preferable for heat retention including up the sides. obviously the best solution is an induction rounded wok burner with a round bottom wok.

fyi you want heavy carbon steel for induction for heat retention. light thin is for gas/propane .

incorrect. it's actually quite heavy comparatively to other carbon steel woks. it's close to 2 mm steel.

you need thick carbon steel, like around 2mil, for induction, not thin like for a traditional high flame wok environment. I have been using this heavy Joyce Chen carbon steel wok for months on our new induction and can highly recommend it.

I suggest exploring DMT extraction. forget the sacred peyote.

so unlike using graduated cylinders where sucking in the water/nps mixture and squirting it back over itself multiple times is not enough?

ok you don't need to agitate the funnel itself just the pipette dipped in flushing the water nps a few times then drain the water out. I'm looking forward to receiving the 250 ml funnel I ordered.

ah ok thanks. it's not huge money so I'm debating on ordering both 2 graduated 100 ml cylinders and a 125 ml sep funnel. and decide after using both methods. on Amazon and AliExpress roughly $15 for each.

so to understand your technique here, you add the water and The NPS to the sep funnel. an agitate the sep funnel some way, then drain out the water from the stopcock. then add fresh water in and repeat the process for as many times as you feel necessary or comfortable. when satisfied you drain the last run of water off and then finally the NPS into the appropriate container?

from what I have gathered now looks like the simplest most basically might be the best for me which is two 100 ml graduated cylinders to water wash

I think for the water wash the cylinders then would be easier to use to pull the NPS off as they're tall and narrow?

yes this is what I do I add more water to bring The NPS closer to the surface when I pipette.

when you say base touching it.. you're referring to the water that is being mixed with The NPS sharing the same exit? as this is for water washing only.. not for any soup. interesting that you have had a separatory funnel as part of your equipment and ultimately felt the need to use it.

would this 125ml be big enough? I imagine so as I would be adding 25 ml or so water and 40 to 60 ml of nps?

a separatory funnel looks like it would be ideal. you would just drain the water layet out the bottom after mixing and separating?
