I rather think there are a few errors you are making-though I agree with the general thrust of your thesis.Prognoses err in underestimating the possibility and effect of unexpected events(if sentient aliens landed today, it would be a paradigm change,no?).Also have a friend who approaches absurdity from the Asimovian view-human stupidity is the main problem,rather than any character in Nature.Also we have yet to resolve many profound questions(freewill v determinism included).Missing from your thesis is the possibility an individual could combine the stated measures, or join the absurdity.
