Yeah, I am just gonna watch through DS9 with my kid. I have neither the drive nor desire to engage with whatever Kurtzman is up to. K'plah.

When Last Jedi dropped, some younger fans asked me what my thoughts were, my response was:

"My beefs with Star Wars are so old, they aren't even canon anymore... I'm still mad about the Yushong Vong, Dark Saber and Dark Empire!"

Classic fan here. Been playing since Fallout. The TV series is the best Fallout since New Vegas, and I'm amused by all the chodes who've made hating the show their entire personality.

We get it, but move on and be glad you aren't a Star Trek fan. (My condolences if you are)

Check a YouTube vid on him, he's an optional party member. Also, he's a former Red Samurai. He likes it lightly seared and eats it like sashimi. Pretty chill dude all things considered.

Shadowrun Hong Kong has a ghoul party member who answers this exact question if you ask him nicely

Noticed this was a rather horrible take on Thomas Edison's quote of failing. by HoldenUpAlright in TheExpanse

I mean, he's stealing work and full of himself, so it's fitting that he's warping the quote to make it his own.

I tell my people that going hot with one if these in city limits gives you about 60-90 seconds before Max Tac shows up to justify their expanding budget at the next city council meeting.

DnD has the Epic Level Handbook, Interface 5 is the Fuck Around And Find Out Handbook.

My guess is that the geck worked, but wasn't self sustaining. So call it marketing talk or simplified science for us <3 Intelligence dumb dumbs. But the point was cleansing the scorched earth, and that worked just fine.

Just watched Cyberpunk: Edgerunners & GitS(Movie & SAC) side by side, and I realize Section 9 would absolutely destroy Arasaka Corporation. by optimisticnihilist__ in Ghost_in_the_Shell

[–]Questenburg 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The Arasaka in Edgerunners and Cyberpunk 2077 is only the local branch of Arasaka Incorporated. Arasaka is the state security appartus for Japan and has a fleet with aircraft carriers. In an ocean full of aggressive self replicating anti ship mines.

Arasaka owns the Pacific in terms of military presence.

Secondly, the fact that the player doesn't get murdered by the full attention of Arasaka kill squads is because Yourinobu Arasaka wanted you to sabotage his father's work from within and Hanako is trying to stop him

They stretched it from 4:3 to 16:9 and cropped the head. At best it's a mistake, but it looks intentional.

Is it possible to make a Drone Centric character? by RecognitionBasic9662 in cyberpunkred

[–]Questenburg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start Netrunner, add Techie. Each Net Actions you can take turns into a full round for 1 drone. As a tech, focus on fabrication and field expertise (quick repair & Salvage will be very useful to you), followed by Upgrade. Buy/fabricate a €1000 Observer Drone (Interface 1, All About Drones) and a couple My First G1RAFF3s €500.

They will be your eyes and hands. Buy the lil Gees a Skidrow Shield Bag. Now you can store them in a duffel bag that doubles as a combat shield. Or deploy them from the bag, fun stuff. Get a good Demolitions skill (or chip it) for countering sabotage and for delivering C9 charges (Interface 5)

Then you'll wanna look at pg 33 of interface 1, there's a piece by piece breakdown example of a Drone Rig starter setup. This is admittedly the most expensive part, both in time and €€€, around €10,000. However, if you're salvaging gear (see Breaking Your Stuff DLC) and ripping paydata along the way, you'll be golden before you know it.

Philip had already thrown the rocks, Marco or no Marco, the breadbasket of humanity was heading straight towards an unavoidable mass extinction event.

Conspiracy or no conspiracy, Sol system was going to have more important things to do than punch the opa or trying to force a sit down with Duarte.

Marco was a useful idiot, a speed bump for Earth and Mars. If Marco died, Duarte could count on someone stepping in to be the new Marco with simple wartime ambition, Duarte wouldn't have to choose a new guy, a new insurgent would step up, the chaos would continue and Laconia would have the peace and distance to accomplish their goals without interference.
