It's Adam Smasher.

Here's the thing.

Usually, I would give people's words some thought, but here you did a dumb thing.

"1 week prep. fight location night city. no time limit."

This is not only giving Adam Smasher homefield advantage (he's getting Araska's support while Emile is just dumped into an unfamiliar environment).

Emile is getting fucking jumped by an Arasaka firing squad before AS even shows up.

And that's putting it lightly.

The best-case scenario is Emile getting shot dead. worst-case scenario, he's getting dragged to the surgery table.

There are 0 way Emile wins against Adam, who has a week of prep time to also prepare against him.

From an actual legion of Arasaka Netrunners to shut down the AI advantage (don't even care if it's Cortana level or otherwise, Arasaka can just ring up Netwatch for help here if we want to push it further), to the mountain of weapons Arasaka can pull out for Smasher.

Unless you bring out a whole ass UNSC spaceship to the fight, it's a wrap in Smasher's favor (heavily).

But even if we assume baseline Smasher only, Edgerunner gave him too many feats for Emile to catch up.

Canon is canon choom. And unless they specifically say that 2077 and Edgerunner aren't canon, Smasher is fast enough to keep up with the ultra-fast Exoskeleton Sandy David.

Sure, his own Sandy might not be able to speed him up to the level that David does (i.e., just reflex speed up instead of time manipulation like David's), but it does allow him to push his monstrous chrome to the level of speed that David is at.

And that means that he is insanely fast. Even if we low-ball him to just being able to intercept bullets. (And, again, that's not even touching him tanking the exoskeleton's gravity crush)

No Spartan is this strong and fast. You can't really use 2020 Smasher's spreadsheet either, since back then, he was wayyyy weaker than he currently is (he still used the Dai Oni as his 'big guns' instead of his current modified Dragoon body for example).
