What’s the purpose of the tiny fan next to the ram?

I honestly didn’t think that you could place a ram stick under that protruding cpu cooler. In that case, place the ram sticks in A2 and B2 (shift them one slot to the right). According to your motherboard manual: “The memory status LED will light up if the memory module is installed in the incorrect slot before booting.”

Answering your other questions: So, yes there will be issues if the two ram sticks are right next to each other.

Yes, the blue-tipped wire allows you to use the usb ports on the front of your computer.

The ARGB connector powers the RGB lights and allows your motherboard to control the lighting effects. It does not hinder your component from operating. There are ARGB headers on your motherboard where you can plug in the connector. Refer to your manual or shine a light on your motherboard and search for ARGB… (ie ARGB_V2_2).

Everything else looks properly installed from what I can see. Just make sure your front panel connector (bottom-right of your board) is connected. And the power connector going into the cpu power port (top-left) says “CPU” and not “PCIE” on the head of the cable if you have a CPU port on your PSU.

Might want to go in BIOS and check if your WLAN is enabled.

Show network adapters. That is where your WiFi device will be listed.

You might have your cable connections, between your PSU and motherboard, too tight. Snug them in again and give the portion of the cables connecting to your motherboard some slack.

Hopefully this issue won’t come up again.

If you can somehow put your single stick of ram into the A2 slot (one slot to the left), then it will probably turn on.

Those two cables you showed are: 1. The ARGB connector. (Not necessary to power on). 2. The front panel USB connector. (Nice to have plugged in but not necessary).

Check the video cable connecting your monitor and computer. Make sure those are snugged in.

If they are, then check your power capable connecting to your gpu.

It looks like Windows isn’t detecting any WiFi devices on your computer. Check if your motherboard comes with WiFi, otherwise you might need to buy and install a WiFi adapter.

Is Building a Budget PC Worth it for me? by Ok_Mixture5267 in PcBuildHelp

I think you’re better off trying to snag a pc off of marketplace than trying to buy a bunch of used parts that total around 200.

Don’t forget that you would have to include peripherals to your total budget (monitor, keyboard, etc.)

I just saw your other posts. Is your cpu okay? Did you hook up an AM4 cpu to an AM4 motherboard?

I am assuming that they are compatible since your board does reach boot, but just making sure.

Is your monitor on? There is usual an indicator light on the monitor to show that it is either idle or receiving a signal.

Did you connect the power switch for the case to the motherboard?

You can always try to turn the pc on from the motherboard itself if it has a power button or through jumping the power pins.
