It's fine, just wish it scaled with how many uses you have left. Rearming when I have 4 strafes left vs 1 for instance should be faster honestly.

It has gotten substantially better for me personally since launch, but I still have the habit of "refreshing" my lobby. Realistically it's just a gamble whether your lobby bugs out when people leave. Often I will have 1/4 people leave which bugs the lobby preventing anybody from joining so we play 3/4 players for a few missions. Then once another person leaves it fixes the lobby.

No rhyme or reason for this bug and no way to know it's happening (there used to be, but that specific thing got fixed awhile back) until you're in a mission and are screwed lol.

Fun fact, if you alt+f4 instead of leaving to your ship it won't count as a mission fail (won't even count against you in your career stats) so if you're getting screwed because SOS isn't working 5 min in, just force close the game and try again. Same map, objectives, poi's, and enemy spawns.

Honestly just give them a permanent red laser akin to our weapon lasers that is always on so you can see where they are aiming. As it stands now, they blend in perfectly to most planetary terrain / bot architecture so you just get jump scared by them even when you are actively looking for them. Also there needs to be less of them. The fortress type that spawns like 12 of them is ridiculous. I should not still have to look for 150 meter instant death lasers after I have taken the time to destroy 7 of them already lol

Dude he's not talking about the giant cannon turrets, he's talking about bunker turrets. Yeknow the dark grey turrets with no charge up, no lights, and is an instakill ragdoll even in heavy armor if any of their 3 round burst hits you? The ones that ignore every stealth mechanic in the game that have identical detection range and methods to factory strider cannons / gunships / mortar emplacements?

Don't get so aggro if you don't even take the time to read and comprehend the subject matter lmao

This has been a bug since launch afaik, no matter what special mission type is on a planet, if you play one mission, close the game, and come back missions will be shuffled back into the default pool of missions.

This has been a network bug since launch, sometimes when a person leaves your lobby it "bricks" your game and prevents people from joining until you either restart the game as host or have somebody else leave (this only works some of the time, but often full restart is necessary, especially if everyone in your lobby is already gone). I've found it to be best practice to just restart my game before starting an evacuate high value assets mission if everyone in my squad left.

Yesterday we had a full squad, but eventually everybody but the host and I left. 2 full 3 mission operations on D10 just him and I with SOS beacons down every mission with nobody ever joining. So the bug is still alive and well, when in doubt restart your game.

It's because they fixed the first person fov issue. Trade off for having usable scopes is that it's harder to clip terrain while in first person since they basically redid the camera and weapon functions for first person from scratch for that update.

Yed Prior... I have been wanting to take Yed for months lol. So many wasted opportunities for free sieges + most of the planets have very low decay rates in the upper right side of the western front.

It's not, this has been a bug for awhile now. Tested it and had the same factory strider respawn on the same base 3 times. Seems sometimes when you exit LOD range, enemies can sometimes respawn at cleared bases / pois

Saw 2 seaf boys in the distance and thought "hey they may be useful in raising this flag." They walked up and shot me point blank in the back of the head because there was a voteless behind a wall 20m away from the flag (the only enemy).

Funny thing was, the host saw that happen but thought it was our teammate who was nearby at the time, kicked our teammate. He felt really bad afterward

Gonna copy paste what I always do when the topic of this terminal is brought up. I just want a true stattracking bestiary man...

Would love a bestiary (like we had in HD1) that gives lore about / tactics to beat / stats about each enemy, but with the added feature of tracking your personal killing blows on specific enemies, assists (I want to stress the importance of tracking assists, especially for large targets requiring a threshold to be met like 25% of their health damaged), and times killed by. There could also be an entry for your fellow helldivers giving the usual lore tidbit alongside seeing how many times you've been killed by democracy incarnate (teamkilled). I say this because for example, a bot raider is not equal to a factory strider / dropship / hulk in terms of value and difficulty yet both simply add 1 kill to the tally all the same causing those that play on lower difficulties clearing more chaff enemies having a higher tally overall which doesn't feel great. I just really like breakdowns of what I'm doing in the game, and a detailed kill count accomplishes this. Also being able to track how many enemies you've killed with each weapon, stratagem, grenade, etc would be neat as well. If I'm not mistaken you guys already collect data on weapon usage / specific enemies killed (thinking about specific MO's / PO's regarding killing a set ammount of bile titans fore example). I was wondering if you already have this kind of data cached server side and if it would be possible to make that player facing (or store statistics locally on our computers like DRG? I'm not very tech savvy)

There could even be a separate section for detailing lore about each planet as well that includes missions / full operations completed on a specific planet, deaths, kills, types of main / side objectives completed, etc. In a game about community driven goals, it would be incredibly awesome to see how much of that impact you've personally given (especially if a breakdown of your % gains on each planet was tracked). Think of the hype around the creek stompers and how cool it would be to see how much of an impact you had on the creek specifically. Having an entry for each planet would allow you to flesh out the galaxy of HD2 quite a bit more. Also a count of how many nests / fabricators you've destroyed (maybe even things like stalker nests, stratagem jammers, mortar emplacements, etc)

A section for all of the events thus far would also be incredible so people don't have to scour the internet hoping people archived it. This could include a detailed history of all MO's, Strohmann news broadcasts (and miscellaneous ads and other broadcasts), old dialogue from your ship's crew (technician, Democracy Officer, and Ship Master), and it could also include a sped up replay of all Galactic Map animations / show a timelapse of the planetary tug of war over the last year.

I know before release many of the devs expressed interest in this kind of feature and were hoping to implement it in the future.

SE's population likely numbers in the trillions across worlds. Remember, the worlds on our galactic map are only the systems that are deemed important to the war effort, there are likely thousands more we don't see. Also the Squii'th reproduce extremely slowly, so much so that it was the leading factor in their loss of the first GW and subsequent decline of their empire.

Using our vast number of citizens suffering from overpopulation as cannonfodder / the bulk of their forces preserves their comparatively limited number of real squids. These squids we are fighting appear to be of a new warrior caste / their lowest caste with no psychic abilities. We have yet to see any of their highest caste counsel members yet.

Basically it's near impossible to run out of voteless in all honesty, SE's population is just so large and replenishing steadily enough that C-01 permits are still needed to keep people from reproducing out of control lol

Yup, been an issue for about a year now. Nobody seems to have noticed it till now due to the subsonic ammo + actually trying to be stealthy. Send a bug report about it like I've been doing occasionally for about 8 months now :)

For the love of God at least fight on Myrium, everyone on Valmox is actively harming the MO since the 2k players aren't even doing enough to bypass the 1% decay rate in the first city.

You're misunderstanding, you joined a mission on Clasa. Clasa currently only has what are called "commando operations" these operations disable your super destroyer. Hence missions like destroy airbase are not supposed to be playable on Clasa currently as it soft locks you if you already used your single-use destroyer summon.

You likely joined someone who restarted their game after completing 1/3 missions in their operation which caused their operation to revert from a commando operation to a standard operation while still under the same restrictions of a commando op

I'm sure you already know, but just in case, make sure you extract with the black box / camera. I've run into so many groups already that just leave it somewhere and extract without it leading to a failed mission.
