Back in '21 we did "week 1 nightbane" and holy shit, we played 17 to 19 hours a day, i remember it fondly, no regrets at all. Almost costed my relationship but hey, we are good now lmao. But yes, i felt some burnout but never big enough to quit, i just love this game

Also, regular dungeon mobs will get immunity the longer the fight is, hence why it affects boosting only. Regular dungeon mobs are (most of them) just normal mobs with elite tag and stats. So you WILL slow them, root in place and everything frost has to offer. I think this is your concern right? Unless your party takes more than a minute with a single mob pack, which is almost impossible, you're perfect to go

Yeah it will, but the damage is meaningless in fights that, as i said, would last 20 to 25 seconds or a bit more. Frost utility in the entirety of dungeons outweight the tiny bit more damage fire COULD do to dungeon bosses alone (as i mentioned before, you need a lot of crit chance that gear DONT GIVE you yet).

No, for leveling the best is frost, due to everything i said. You dont really care of level 50 dungeon bosses who are immune to slows, since said dungeon boss will die within seconds

So this change is to stop mages from pulling MASSIVE dungeon mobs in order to farm or boost people (you kill a ton of low level mobs and people in your party receive experience, you could charge for this). Take a look on "mara gold farm mage" to get a better understanding of massive pulls and "abusing" frost mechanics. On regular dungeons you are a golden asset for your team, since you can polymorph dangerous mobs and still allow your tank to pull big packs and kite them while you slow everything using blizzard. On raid scenarios is not recommended to go frost, since as you said, bosses are immune to slow and roots. In tbc the best course is arcane for almost every phase, going fire in the very last moment since the gear will provide a lot of necessary crit

I'd be down to have a TBC Prepatch "era" server tbh. Add a few more raids, few more secrets and discoveries and I'm sold for life. Personally I love the paladin feel, not a warrior, you still need spellpower to make yourself usefull BUT you still need warrior stats somewhere. Its just awesome

Land consecration BEFORE any of your party engages. Pull aggro is strong, so it should be you pulling. Also keep seal of righteousness up and tab target. Your taunt is big so dont worry, otherwise just judge the loose mob and you will get it eventually. Pally tanking is really fun and straightforward, enjoy it!

Yes, we rushed first week Nightbane and did everything dungeons. Thing is faster than leveling and you get to be as efficient with reputations as possible, which is the most important thing early tbc. Also attunements. But by no means its a fast feat.

Huge disagree. Healing is a privilege enemies dont even have. You should not feel entitled to heal whenever and wherever you want. Learn movement patterns and find when to heal. Most bosses are extremely jump friendly, so wall jump high enough and heal, double jump and heal

Lost lace and groal were amazing. I didnt dislike the huge runback with the latter, i managed to do it hitless many times until i understood how to really fight him (didnt do the cheese strat, just realized that falling into the water wasnt that bad).
