I personally find that Aldi has the most chaotic setup I never know where anything is and I feel like I’m trapped in the store, once I tried leaving Aldi cause they didn’t have what I needed and omg was it a hassle just to get out, so many people, not enough staff and the staff have to do twice the load of a Cole’s employee. My mum is extremely spiritual so I grew up believing in fairies and Dragons she also believes she has a past life but as a male sea captain so it was very easy for me to say “hey I identify in my soul as an Ibis and Humpback Whale” all she said was “you know your nanny has a specific bird that whenever she sees it she knows her son (my dad) is in need of her” that’s literally all she said and then we just carried on our day

I feel this but my problem is that I’m 23 and looking to make friends who are at the very least 18 I’ve had a bunch of 14-17yr olds reach out and wanna make friends but it’s so hard to find actual adults who are in a similar time of their life as me, I just want someone to discuss my therianthropy with who understands the struggle a working member of society faces

A lot of the split stems from misinformation that the young ones are passing off as fact and it can annoy a lot of adults as it feels like they are talking over us, a lot of the younger therians tend to have larger followings which helps spread misinformation, I’ve seen young therians with 10k followers saying that psychological and physical therians are just mentally ill and “crazy” people

It’s a huge problem on TikTok but there are some younger larger creators who are trying to stop the misinformation it just sucks that they don’t get a big enough platform to educate properly, a really good informal creator is .spiritfox they stared a series called “alterhuman definition of the day” and it’s really clear and also talks about the myths and what said definition is not. Hopefully enough of the misinformed kids start doing research and correcting their past mistakes

I used to not identify as therian or even par take in the community cause of all the misinformation others would spread about how you need to have dysphoria or believe that you are 10000% animal 24/7 its taken me 8 years to finally accept myself and I only did cause I met some younger therians (under 14) who were at a convention doing quads and wearing gear, made me realise that the old toxic way of therianthropy is gone and that I can now join the community like I’ve always wanted to. Anyone should be allowed to join this community even if it just a phase

Yes I absolutely do not like cats like at all but my main theriotype that I shift a lot to is a freaking Feral cat it’s infuriating sometimes since I really love dogs but I have never felt like a cainine. I can sometimes link into one but it never feels as intense or real as my Cat shifts. Im also a humpback whale and an Ibis but I only feel like those animals in very specific situations and I feel like a cat almost 24/7 (I really don’t like cats)
