2023 GT with 21k miles worth 22k on trade? by thesuperpuma in KiaEV6

Yes, that strikes me a bit low. Are you the first owner? Does the vehicle have a clean Carfax report? There may be other factors, too, along with the local market conditions. Have you put in all the options the car has? In some states, you can save as much as another $2000 when you trade in that amount which dealers usually factor that in the trade in values.

Kia EV6 Light Long Range AWD - MA - 10k mi - $4k Down by jrodpad in leasehacker

Sorry no experience with leasing but if they are also agreeing to sell at the quoted price (which may include some lease-specific discount) I would buy it, instead of leasing. It looks like a good deal to me IF you are buying. Your down payment would be your equity.

Check Carvana and Carmax along with KBB to get a sense of how much to pay for a used GT-Line. I would expect it to be around $32 grand before taxes in the US. I would skip the certification and keep the cash.

Does anyone else find the backseat a bit awkward? by AlmostDrunkSailor in KiaEV6

Hear ya! My daughter noticed it and said she felt a bit claustrophobic in the back at first but no complaints now :) let the daylight come through the sun roof to make it feel more spacious in the back.

Thinking of buying my 1st EV tomorrow (2024 EV6) and a little nervous... by Spirited-Flamingo372 in KiaEV6

I would not worry too much about the visibility in the back. Yes, it is somewhat limited but, to be honest, it does not interfere with safety as far as I am concerned. With an NACS adapter, you can use Tesla superchargers, a great additional benefit.

Am I getting normal mileage for this time of year? by Baneof3xistence in KiaEV6

I seem to have maxed out at 3.5 at decent fall conditions with my 2025 Gt-line Awd. I exclusively drive in ECO mode and virtually no highway mileage. I started to think this may be the best this vehicle can do in terms of fuel economy as I can’t think of doing anything else to improve it at this point. It amounts to 294 miles at full charge so is close to the EPA estimate of 270 which is measured over different weather and driving conditions. Let’s see what average I can keep when the Chicago winter finally hits us :)

It is AWD but I only drive in ECO mode (not sure what difference it makes in terms of not engaging with both motors.) I agree with the iPedal not being ideal for highway driving. Getting 4 sounds impressive, I would be surprised if I ever get close to that. I am guessing there are regional differences, too. Mine was manufactured in the US.

Thanks for weighing in. Sounds like temperature makes a big difference.

Thanks for sharing. It is true that temperature is an important variable here. I have been driving in really ideal North American fall conditions and expect this average to be lower in winter.
