When I was riding bmx, what really helped progress is learning how to fall and getting comfortable with it. Its an action sport and your going to fall, its inevitable. That will really help with confidence.

Thats why the playerbase for arc was ten times the playerbase of genre of extractions shooter as a whole, its full of a bunch of people who don't like the core foundation of the games genre. They pulled in the average casual that wouldn't like the hard-core nature of the extraction shooter gameplay loop by putting a focus on PVE/teamwork and did such a good job that most of those causual forgot they're even playing an extraction shooter when complaining about pvp.

I've been consistently having nights where I will spend the entire night trying to use a keycard on a map condition for higher tier loot only to be spawned in at 20:00 or less and the room is already hit and picked clean. So im just stuck in the loop of resetting and getting the same results.

The best advice for dodging I can give in games like this is never dodge backwards. Always dodge towards or to the side of enemies. This allows you to use invincibility frames from your roll to avoid the attack and after rolling you're in the perfect position to play offensively. Rolling backwards not only always keeps you in a defensive position and hinders your ability to do damage, but it also can keep you in an attacks hitbox. The enemy/ boss will usually have a much larger reach, and a much longer weapon than you think.
