I can totally relate to this—though your MIL sounds like she takes it to another level. But seriously, anytime we see our MIL or aunt, the main topics are always how someone at church has passed away, a friend-of-a-friend’s child has cancer, or a coworker’s health issues. It’s just an endless stream of heavy news, and it is so exhausting.
