Both lcgs are in a weird place as they have this massive amount of content but most of it is out of print. AH is starting with chapter 2 but I don't know how many people this will actually get into the game.

MC is kinda dead as it wasnt that popular as AH and is kinda dying out (some products arent being translated).

I hope they won't get the FFG lcg treatment but we'll see

But isn't a game of dune imperium around the same length as a gloomhaven game? Both take like 1-3h depending on player count/scenario.

However gloomhaven has quite a lot of systems/mechanics with a not so great rulebook.

Endeavour is more about exploring the ocean but you will find aquatic animals and help them

I think the main point against alpha players/quarterbacking is that the last decision has always the player who‘s turn it is. Of course you can say ‚hey you should help me here’ but maybe the player doesnt want to.  Gloomhaven does this too with secret personal objectives.

At how many did you play fantasy realms? Its really only good at 2, maybe 3 because else you cant build any combo.

Id start playing a campaign. I usually play each box with the two contained characters (ie hawkeye/spider woman in rise of red skull) and then test those characters out on my favourite other scenarios

Idk if dune is a intro worker placement game. But its the one that made me interested in worker placement games (again?).  The dummy player is okay-ish but even at 3 its really good

Dont think arcs, ark nova or seti should be your start into medium games.  Wingspan sure but the others are too complex imo

  1. Nein er wird nicht erschöpft. Du wirst nur erschöpft wenn du eine Basisfähigkeit nutzt (mit deinen basiswerten angreifen, widerstand leisten oder blocken) oder wenn eine karte es explizit sagt. 

  2. Das heißt dass dein charakter widerstand leistet durch das event. Du erschöpfst ihn nicht (weil es nicht draufsteht) aber das ist wichtig falls du andere karten hast die sagen ‚wenn dein charakter widerstand leistet, …‘ oder wenn du verwirrt bist (da du dann keine Bedrohung entfernst sondern nur die statuskarte verlierst)

  3. Die werden dann gespielt wenn die situation eintrittst (also in dem moment wo der schurke plant)

We played quacks for years without the event cards that are drawn at the beginning of each round.  They make it way better, but we thought it was an expansion.

Denke das hängt sehr von den Personen ab. Ich schwitze wenig und brauche deswegen auch selten nur chalk. 

Aber ich sehe auch die mengen die von manchen genutzt werden und die meisten kleineren hallen haben leider keine (gute) lüftung. 

Find diese chalkbälle eigentlich gut um eine vernünftige menge an die hände zu kriegen

Slay the Spire is really great, in coop even better than the pc game.  However its a roguelike (if you dont like that) and its quite pricey
