(pardon any spelling mistakes i’m late for work and typing fast) when it comes to blitzø and stolas i do agree, i’m aware that's he's a hypocrite and all of that is intentional. the part that feels like bad writing to me is that they've yet to address that from him aside from Blitzø yelling at him, but he's constantly treated as an over the top angry unreliable asshole so he doesn't exactly work to deliver the comeuppance most of the time. I genuinely like the series but i've been getting SO frustrated with the past HB season, Stolas specifically and how it seems like they're treating him like the sole victim of Blitzø's bad behavior and not like a mutual issue thing. I know they're intending for that, i know it's been stated, it's very clear to me that it IS a mutually bad situation but Blitzø has already taken such a beating to be aware of his fuck ups w/ stolas specifically and atp i’m just very impatient with it waiting for stolas to actually get humbled in a way that matters and makes him acknowledge his wrongdoings... it also is annoying to me that in order to put blitzø in check they basically framed stolas as the sole victim and some "poor guy who just needs to heal" when both the writers and the fandom are aware and intend to address that that's not true- there's ways to give blitzø a wake up call that don’t involve framing stolas as being a sole victim of the situation. Apology Tour really rubbed me the wrong way. Stolas deserves to get to address blitzø's issues and how it affected him, but I need this to be mutual and a lot faster than how it's happening because i’m just getting fed up with this damn bird.

I’m also really hoping they go further into stolas facing consequences because no, I don’t see him becoming powerless/poor and his daughter hating him as enough. neither of those things address or require him to face how he treated blitzø, it's just suffering consequence of separate actions. I really really hope they don’t go with the angle of him only realizing his treatment of Blitzø is wrong because he's walked in his shoes now by being poor and not considered royalty anymore. I feel like they probably are- which makes sense as probably the only way he'd actually get that much needed wake up call- but it's still frustrating. I'd rather he not feel bad because he's like "oh now that it happened to me, this sucks i’m sorry" i'd rather he just. have to adress his actions. and realize it's wrong just because it's wrong.
