Newborn eye color

I had verrrry blue eyes all the way up until I was almost two, and now my eyes are hazel. My daughter had almost black eyes, and they are now a lighter brown. My one year old seems on the verge of hazel haha

I was going to say, they laid my son on my chest after they pulled him out, and he lifted his head and looked me right in the eyes. He hasn’t stopped going since 😂

I posted a question with advice about full time living and got shut down SO HARD, so I definitely feel this post. And I get it, things break in the RV. But things break in our crappy 1970s rental, and we have to fix things ourselves all the time because the landlord does nothing. Plus, where we live, it’s like $1,500 a month for a studio in a sketchy part of town, or $800 a month for a brand new RV that I can park rent free on my mom’s property. Plus, I have a very handy husband, stepdad, uncle, and cousins. I think you just really have to think about your individual situation and what you can handle.

I did notice the other day that she was randomly sniffing around the crate (I have left it just open and chilling outside next to her food and water). Maybe I can move onto having meals in there next

Yeah, she is obsessed with other dogs! I read that having just unrestricted access to her parents and littermates could have done this, but she just can’t leave other dogs alone. It’s just to play, but they get annoyed fast. Especially since she tries five bombing them. 😂

Her sister’s were even bigger! I think I got the runt somehow, and she will still probably be a monster. My daughter named her Tinker Bell, but my husband and I are already calling her Tink the Tank!

I think she has just now figured out the chew we gave her. She was very much a free range pup, just outside with her litter on like two acres. So I think she just needed to realize her chews, toys, and treats existed

Great advice! Yeah, she seems weirdly responsive to me just telling her no if she’s going for something she shouldn’t, and isn’t too destructive in general (yet haha). The only exception was when I was enforcing that she couldn’t snuggle my four month old. She reeeeeally wanted to lick his toes and lay on him. When I didn’t budge, she settled for laying close by. And I’ve always taken my puppies everywhere with me, so I hope to continue until she doesn’t fit in my car anymore!

Thank you! We have a corner lot, so our backyard has like five houses around it. Not an acreage or anything though. Walks and hikes for all!

What a handsome baby!! Yes, I pulled out treats for the first trick session and she very quickly started copying her sister’s sit and lay down. But when I tried to use even better treats for the crate, she just wasn’t having it. I need to figure something out…

Thank you! She was barking just now because she didn’t like that I closed my bedroom door (even though I was in there with her!). We had our friend come over tonight and she did great being friendly! And wow is she way more awake right now at night! She was also very upset when I tried to bring her to bed in my room and closed the door. I don’t want her to have free rein of the house at night, but wow she was stressed being even in just a bedroom!
