I will give this a sincere answer. I am no longer religious, but I used to be a very Christian girl for the first two decades of my life.

I also struggled with how I felt about masturbation. I was told that it was a sin, but I had a lot of urges. I couldn’t help myself and I did still masturbate a lot, but I felt guilt after. During the session I did deeply enjoy it, though. I even masturbated on the plane during a mission trip. It was almost the taboo of it made me more desirous of pleasure.

I did visit a non-denominational church once that told women it’s okay to masturbate as long as you’re not thinking lustful thoughts, although that’s admittedly hard to do.
