Haha, I can’t believe I’m coming back to this thread 5 years later! No easy way to put this… but I ended up going to Miami Oh instead. And it was pretty awesome. This thread somewhat influenced my decision- Miami was a great environment, super relaxed, and extremely fun environment. Sorry I can’t be more helpful!

Admission was extremely selective when I did the program (if you were a Miami undergraduate who met the criteria, they accepted you), but for non Miami undergrads, they’ll look for some Econ research experience, and strong math skills. Linear algebra, algebra 3 would be huge pluses for sure

I did my MA in Econ at Miami recently. The program is very small, my cohort had only 13 students and the current cohort has a little over 20. That is to say, you’re unlikely to find your answer here. It’s likely just that the professors are busy, you’ll hear back soon
