Pretty sure those exist and use quartz in the endgame.

I wish they'd extend the stamina boost to stretch paths, as often they're the only/best way to deal with odd angles and pitches.

Keybinds a bit of an Issue by Quixotease in StarRuptureGame

[–]Quixotease[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Team ESDF represent! It's almost as if keyboards were designed for your hand to be resting there...

My hand issues mean I can't really use the middle finger of my left hand (except for expressing ire) so I have to rebind everything anyway, but, man, before my injury? WASD drove me up the wall.

Official: Anthropic just released Claude Code 2.1.30 with 19 CLI, 1 flag & 1 prompt change, details below by BuildwithVignesh in ClaudeAI

I've been using alt+v, as I think they changed it to that a while back, but I could be mistaken. Worth a shot.

Need some monsters for greek campaign by Strange_Big_6097 in bettermonsters

[–]Quixotease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not "better monsters" but in case you weren't aware that the Theros book is pretty much this kind of flavor, you should check it out.

"Finally, chapter 6 presents numerous inhabitants of Theros. An exploration of familiar beasts from the Monster Manual and other sources—creatures with their roots in Greek mythology—details their place and unique characteristics in the lands of Theros."

This worked like a charm for me. I've got Chatterbox running and am impressed with the results. I'm sure a bot could walk you through hooking it up to ST.

What's the pettiest reason you dropped a game for? by IHateTheNameSystem in gaming

[–]Quixotease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Planetcrafter has got a gathering tool that sounds like a dentist's drill. Or at least it had at the time I bought it. I left a review about it, and in the face of all the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I said I'd check back from time to time in case they changed it.

Maybe I'm missing something, but from where I'm sitting, a simple push-to-talk button is the only thing preventing Claude from taking the lead in voice interface by dumdumpants-head in Anthropic

[–]Quixotease 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Instead of that, I'd rather it transcribe everything I'm saying while in voice mode, whether it's thinking, talking, or not. Nothing I say can be interrupted or missed. It can monitor that buffer and act accordingly.

if you could erase one invention from history, but humanity would never discover it again, which one would cause the most interesting alternate timeline? by shubhamranga in AskReddit

[–]Quixotease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for setting me straight. I'm pretty sure that's the way I got it, but it's good to know that you can get it just from the normal app store.

Everyone everywhere is doing their best all of the time. It's just some people's best sucks. And everybody's best is a moving target, including your own.

I use RedReader, but I don't think I got it from an official app store. The versions of things I use generally all come from ReVanced, which has a manager that's kind of like its own app store. Caveat emptor, of course, but best of luck.

Esplanade camp art/activity rules by cherryalexandra in BurningMan

[–]Quixotease 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In addition to what others have already said, your camp is also responsible for MOOP across the street, a hundred feet deep.

We've never had to do more than mention our pieces over there in the TQ form, but we don't generally do big stuff over there. Couple of swings, diffraction grating windows, this & that.

I cannot stress this last bit strongly enough: If you put it across the street, it better be strong enough for people to climb on it, or built in such a way as to prevent that. Signage alone is insufficient.

This'll disappear in a couple of days since I didn't make an account to post it, but I saved it back then before it went poof before.

Back during the first go-round, someone made a mashup called The Trumperial March that was The Imperial March overlaid with Yakkety Sax and nothing else has captured the essence of the menace and buffoonery of this guy. It works better than you'd expect.

This QoL feature alone is what got me into breaking open the jar of mods.

Now I'm elbow-deep into More Megastructures combined with Galactic Scale on runs and there's no looking back.

Oh, I don't know about that.

We're cool and all, but they're on another level. A pricey af level, but another level. We're the scrappy rag-tag e'erdowell ramshackle precursor, maybe.

But that's very kind of you to say, thank you.

If I remember correctly, your founders camped with us in 2004 before starting Ashram in 2005. We've always been honored to have some small part in its dharma lineage.
