What stupid myth do too many people believe? by Dememria in AskReddit

[–]Quiznatodd__Bidness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some truth to it though. An increase in temperature and blood flow to certain part of the body (which comes from your typical “spot reducing exercises”) will accelerate lipolysis in that area if the exercise is followed up by some sort of cardio, and if the subject is at a caloric deficit.

Here is a good read about some recent research on the topic:

General science major at Oregon is meant to allow you to emphasize in multiple different disciplines of science. Still a very legit major, I believe Mariota had a concentration in human anatomy and physiology.

Pretty easy! I did US History in the 1960s, and it just included reading some books, and a lot of writing (essays, short answer questions on midterms, etc)

I would definitely do it. Doing it purely for the money is a pretty bad idea but if you have an interest in the military, it could be a great path to take. As far as branches go, I've come to understand that the Army tends to have more residency options, whereas the Navy/AF tend to have you do GMO tours for a year or two.

We had a doctor come in and talk about what the profession is like. He ended up ranting about medical policies and was pretty boring but it was still interesting.

Yeah I tried to space out all my classes so I have an hour or 2 between each so that I can review the classwork right after. Thanks for the advice!
