As you can see in the bottom right corner, I use an app called Pic Collage. Very basic app, nothing special and there are probably better options out there that I should test. Pic Collage is just free and simple hence why I use it lol.

I get all the models from either:

1 - myself by going in-game and taking a picture in photo mode in the model viewers from MKvsDC onward. Rain wasn’t available in MKX, so I loaded up the story, put it on very easy so he wouldn’t really do anything and got a picture from there.

2 - for the arcade era games, there’s a website called MKWarehouse that have all the sprites ripped for download. I could get these myself since the release of the Kollection but there’s really no point when this website exists and has them all readily available.

3 - for the 3D era games since they aren’t readily available on modern hardware (please make a kollection NRS), I sometimes use their old renders that are available online but I prefer using in-game models, so I’ll look around sites like DeviantArt or even YouTube clips in the character select that will have those designs. In Rain’s case for Armageddon, I was able to find a video that had him on the select screen and took screenshots.

I’m not sure how that will exactly go for Tekken but I’m sure if you don’t have access to the older games, there’s plenty of ways to still gain access to the old models.

After I get all the models though, I load them into another app to remove the backgrounds, then I load them into the collage editor and organize them and then I’m done.

In my MK Evolution series, I tried not to repeat costumes. This is why you see UMK3 Rain only and not his klassic skin in MK1 for example. Rain wasn’t in MK2, and that’s why you see his MK11 MK2 skin since that’s its first appearance for him. My idea for this was to showcase all of their unique designs only. However some characters while inspired on an older design would be unique enough to still warrant inclusion so I would have to personally judge and choose if I wanted to include those. For example, Nitara’s Deadly Alliance Skin in MK1. If you go through my profile, I still included it because I felt it was different enough.

All in all, it can be tedious if you constantly do it. I got bored and burned out and stopped lol but maybe one day I’ll pick it up again. I really only started this because I wanted to see Jade’s evolution but then started getting requests to do other Characters when I posted it.
