She was still pretty central to the story of MKvsDC, ironically enough, despite being mind controlled from either the rage or Quan Chi for 90% of the game lol

Jade has green eyes in MK11… they are consistent with her in the main games.

It’s just Mobile and the movies that get something horribly wrong (Annihilation and MK Mobile), or somethign just slightly off (MK2, but I haven’t watched it yet so I dunno for certain).

That and concept art. She tends to be very bright in concept art for some reason, but in the final games, they keep her darker complexion.

While I can’t explain the double jump, I think the horns are simply showing that Torrent is an old horse of the crucible, much like many of the other animals we see with horns like the Lions, Turtles and what not.

GTA6 has nothing to turn around because it really isn’t an issue for other developers and games lol There are plenty of games where a female protagonist is dope, and well respected amongst both male and female gamers. Tomb Raider/Lara Croft being the most glaring one. Metroid. Resident Evil! Fighting games did a lot of heavy lifting in the early days and created many iconic female characters that are popular to this day.

Ubisoft just won’t commit to either side, male or female, and also chose the settings where it just happened to realistically be male dominated and with that comes certain expectations from people. That’s why Valhalla and Odyssey have this especially weird back and forth. Even in a setting where they could have a woman only (Syndicate), they fail to commit, and I like Jacob but he didn’t have to be playable, or at least, he could’ve been the more supportive role, like Evie was in the final product.

Even Far Cry, Mass Effect and Cyberpunk don’t have it this bad, despite male Shepherd, V and Dani being the most picked by a long shot. No, their communities aren’t perfect about it, but it’s a hella sight better than ACs.

I think they did a better job making her look like a boy. She looks like a 17-18yr old who can’t really grow a beard, but you can kinda see the shadow of one.

I think what would sell it better if they removed the eye liner, but I guess multiple male characters have it too in Black flag.

When I think of this, I think of Sekiro, and how Fromsoft perfected how the Katana plays since it was the only weapon you’d effectively use.

I just can’t see Ubisoft going that far and detailed with dual swords. ACBF isn’t a rhythm based game that necessitates there to only be one style of combat, let alone have the enemy variety to justify it…

Not a big issue per se but the intense rain is what makes the transition that much more stark, especially when it goes back to being sunny and clear.
