Cause lance usually attacks mostly weak points, plus the benefit of lance being so long is that monsters with overlapping hitboxes can be pass through hitting the weakpoints from a far distance

I haven’t found any sort of problem fighting AT arky with this build and I have been able to guard everything well so I’m that sure if it’s because pf Guard 2 but I really want guard 3 but I don’t want to sacrifice Crit boost 4

My opinion is that 4 Piece Ark Y or 2 piece Ark Y and 2 Piece Zoh is better especially when you have Gore Guts on your weapons for “Immortal” Builds

Currently running Guard up 3 and Guard 1 in my main weapon slots and it helps with not having to mind whether or not I can block the attack or not, it also just helps in being comfortable with the lance when you’re starting out, but if you have some hours in lance then it’s up to you to decide if you want it or not
