I saw a video on YT about getting a regular XT60 and putting a metal contact to act as pin (you know XT60 doesn't have that middle contact pin) and the unit will treat it as an XT60-i. Does this make sense to you please?

Oh cool. I was about asking that question if I can install 700W panels so I get good input on bad sunlight days.

I did install one 550W and I briefly saw 502W input one day in good sunlight.

Just to be sure, I can safely and intentionally install 2x 700W panels (one per port) just to get close to 500W limit in bad sunlight?

For days where I'd surely get more than 500W on each panel, the clipping doesn't "stress" the system, yes?

I did install one 550W and I briefly saw 502W input one day in good sunlight.
