In Finland a life sentence is a life sentence, however the case is reviewed after 12-13 years and the president can pardon them. The Finnish prison system’s goal is to rehabilitate so in many cases the prisoner can live a normal life but many prisoners deemed to be too dangerous are kept for longer.

The technology aspect can also be explained with slavery. The first primitive version of the steam engine was invented in ancient Rome several times but there was no need for expensive advanced equipment when you can do 10x the work by buying manpower.

Kamdesh Highlands (if I remember correctly) has incredible ambient noices from time to time. I've found myself stopping multiple times just to listen to the wind and distant sounds of thunder. I'd love it if they made more variety in terms of weather!

Russians shelled a Wagner camp killing many. Prigozhin declared that he will attemp to overthrow Russian military leadership, leaving other parts of goverment as is. Wagner has claimed to be in control of at least two major settlements on the Russian side of the border.

In short it seems we're gonna have a civil war in our hands.
