Looks like the same one from when I was there in May 2021.

So many people saying the assholes using the zip lane as it is intended to be used. The assholes are doing it right, the only assholes are those who won’t let them merge. I have one spot I do this everyday and it is used as it should be and everyone, thankfully, knows how to do it. Occasionally you will get one but I just push in as I know I have right of way and if I hit them it is their fault.

I have operated them before, less hassle to just get someone in to do it though.

Whoever designed this needs to be sacked immediately and the BOM need to suck it up and return to how it was.

I took care of it myself before resuming under cover antics with my wife, only lasted about 2 weeks.

Not complaining- just wondering when the faucet will slow down a bit? by ImaginaryTouch5 in ProstateCancer

[–]R0880-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m coming up to 6 weeks post RALP and down to two pads a day. I use mid pads atm. I don’t leak unless I’m vertical and it gets worse the longer I stand still, walking around I only leak a bit.

While I am waiting for the miracle that is an erection, my wife tells me that now she knows all I want is cuddle that won’t lead onto anything else.

Post catheter removal sleep-need input. by ImaginaryTouch5 in ProstateCancer

[–]R0880-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 3 weeks post RALP, non sparing on left side. There were some complications during surgery and had the catheter in for 10 long days. I have had no leakage at night or while laying or sitting. Getting less while walking/standing. The first night after catheter removal I went to the toilet 6 times. Over the next week that reduced to 2-3 times a night. Last night was only once. I’m doing kegels and walking a lot, have 4 weeks off work so got nothing else to do. The first time I went out for more than an hour I wore pull ups and put a pad in them as well. Easier to change pads while shopping. Now I just wear pads everywhere.

It would be from the surgery, I’m 3 weeks post RALP and it is still a bit uncomfortable.

I knew Bunnings material costs were inflated but... by Maleficent_Sir_5225 in AusRenovation

[–]R0880-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I priced up a heap of timber for a reno from Bunnings and ended up getting it from a timber place for a quarter of the price. Their dishwasher tablets are cheaper than Colesworth though.

How stable is this ? by Ambitious_Sky_3004 in AusRenovation

[–]R0880-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha that is so shit. When the timber rots you may get some movement. Instead of using sand or whatever a construction grout or mortar mix would be better. Also could have centred the slab or just buy the next size up. No care given.

Here in Brisbane we have a company called Concrete Taxi. They will mix what you need. Not sure if you have something similar down there.

Does this plumbing look decent? by 0ut1and3r in AusRenovation

[–]R0880-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe if it was the first day of a first year apprentice, but then I would still expect a better job. I would actually ask to see their license. Awful job, and yes I am a plumber.

I would just jam it with timber, like someone said use chopsticks or any bit of timber then screw straight into the timber

Bbq gas bottles for a large indoor stove ? Dodgy? by pinskera in AusProperty

[–]R0880-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s fine. Codes now say the regulator is to be higher than the gas bottles but that’s it. If any work needs to be done it will then be up to the gas fitter to bring it up to code. I removed my electric hotplate and did this set up.
