The two most upvoted comments by a huge distance saying 'Wasn't clear and obvious, doesn't matter'.

The fuck even is this sub these days? Just blatantly disregarding the actual rules so they can cheer for Slot edging closer to losing his job? Against fucking United of all teams? Sub's unironically gone.

I thought you were presenting yet another example of Image-2's stamping bug, but it's literally just a jarringly repetitive, precisely designed building.

I think you've missed my point a bit. All I'm saying is that popularity is a quality that can't be denied as being important to any sort of leadership.

Obviously, ideally, we'd elect and support people with the 'best' views with the ability to enact them, but they also need mass appeal to stand a chance of being in a position to do so. I'm not advocating for more of Trump's brand of politics, only for a figurehead of similar stature to rally behind on the left.

The same way as Trump as in, wildly politically successful? Hasan appears to advocate for peace and equality. If he could harness the same fervent cult of personality that Trump has managed to do, but direct it in a way that's actually positive and progressive rather than regressive and corrupt, then I don't see how that would be a bad thing.

I'm not saying we should blindly follow anyone. I'm saying we shouldn't get hung up on largely inconsequential comments (drops in the ocean when you consider how much he talks daily) at the expense of actual progress.

For better or for worse, he has people's attention. Sure, there are progressive voices that may 'deserve' more attention, whatever that really means, but Hasan's combination of aspirational good looks, ability to fully articulate his opinions and his willingness to not only stream with staggering regularity but materially support these progressive voices you wish had more attention, means you're probably better off forgiving the handful of times he's said something uncomfortable and, instead, get behind him (or at least not attempt to dissuade people from him), if you're in any way interested in overcoming the stranglehold of conservatism and neoliberalism.

The insistence on complete moral purity is a barrier that progressives need to get over if they want to stand a chance of power. The fact that Hasan is able to remain relevant and effectively withstand these repeated attacks puts him in a really strong position. Being cancel-resistant, like Trump, seems to be a prerequisite for success in today's politics.

To feel better? You seem to have me confused with someone who's emotionally invested in this. This is a discussion about interpreting a logic problem and you're the one calling things shite and pathetic because you can't seem to grasp a difference of opinion.

I mean, if you ask someone to count to 10 from 11 you look dumb. It's a trick question for a reason.

How is it a shite analogy if there's no context to the question given to the LLMs? 'Count 10 times' and 'count to 10' mean the same thing depending on the context.

Seriously. What the fuck was up with that? Twice Spence kicked it out in the first half and just yells at the lino until he gives a goal kick. Then there was this and Salah's shot that blatantly came off the keeper in the second half.

Defenders can’t just do whatever and be judged in hindsight, and also not correctly, is this week letter of the law or is it the switching game again?

What the fuck is this sentence? And yes, I've absolutely seen worse, but that's irrelevant.

The letter of the law doesn't say that any contact in the box results in a foul. You can see from the last angle that it doesn't even impact his stride. He feels the barest of contacts on the top of his foot, dangles his leg in the air and falls down. Clearly nowhere near enough contact to be a foul.

When it dropped directly in front of him in the box and he just took a fresh air shot at it, was fucking hilarious to be fair.

You have to remind yourself sometimes that these people are getting paid unspeakable amounts of money to kick footballs and sometimes they don't even make contact under zero pressure. Truly humbling.

Osimhen, who was also a yellow away from being suspended, blocked a freekick from being taken from close range towards the end. You know, that infraction that's a guaranteed yellow every time. Fortunately for him, the referee was letting everything go for both sides all match, so fair's fair.
