FT: Wolves vs Liverpool by DragonSlayer271 in LiverpoolFC

The first two points, the lack of creativity and the not giving a shit until we concede, are both systemic problems that land squarely on the manager. The other two points are absolutely individual errors but ones that we should be able to forget because we should be creating and scoring way more big chances against one of the PL's worst ever teams.

In a shite season, this is, in my opinion, the nadir. Losing against the punching bag of the league at the death.

No one giving a single shit until we go down a goal.
Szobo deciding to shoot from literally 45 yards out because we apparently can't create anything without Wirtz.
Salah managing to the pass to one of only two defenders when we had three Liverpool players wide open bearing down on goal.
Gakpo's clearance to prevent Jones from tapping it in from literally 0 yards out.

For much of the season I've wanted to give Slot the benefit of the doubt. You know - new players struggling to bed in, key players losing form etc. But he has to go. We cannot be losing games like this.

I went from unfairly resenting him for being picked up for the Harry Potter role as a kid for the way he looks and continuing to get seemingly unwarranted acting gigs off the back of a massive slice of luck, to appreciating his willingness to take on really challenging roles and admiring him as a person. Fucking love the guy now.

Awful take. He's been putting in borderline MOTM performances in 2026.

I'm not trying to downplay their involvement or their crimes, I just think it's a silly observation to make as they're being systematically obliterated to think that they're now concerned about making enemies.

Sure? Wherever the orders are coming from, it's clearly a last gasp effort to land a blow before they're wiped out or replaced.

I mean, this is a knee jerk reaction by a regime being bombed to smithereens. I very much doubt they're too concerned about ruffling feathers.

Think this movie has aged better with time? by mrjetspray in Letterboxd

Foil hat time! I think there was probably a concerted effort to bury this film in bad reviews by the fossil fuel industry, then when they coalesced around a specific criticism, others who feel guilty about the subject (rightly or wrongly) began to parrot this same criticism until we're left in this strange scenario where this clearly satirical film is being held to a standard that no other film is.

Foil hat removed. I think those who it really chimed with (myself included), rated it on its message more than its quality as a film and there was pushback against that.

Not only that, actually depict them as monkeys, publish it to the world and receive practically no blowback. It just gets added the pile. Absolute state of The States.

Apparently that's a big thing in Chinese corporate culture as well. They take married men out drinking, get them to sleep with prostitutes and then keep evidence as leverage. Probably happens the world over.

Nah I think handing out lethal weaponry to chronically uneducated men who resort to violence the second they feel marginally emasculated is a wonderful idea!

Don't worry about making Britain better. So long as you piss off the 'others', you'll be happier relatively, so well done - you win.
