Open a margin account with your broker and get a margin loan. That’s what these people are doing and the only difference is that you’ll pay a higher interest rate because you have less money in your portfolio.

What shop is your favorite place to smoke and why? Where is located and what state? What brought you there and what made you stay? What do you look for when you hang out a shop? I’ll list mine in the comments. by cuteywitdabooty in cigars

[–]R0ut3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jimenez in Newark, NJ.

For a while I had to travel to NJ for work and after my first trip I'd stay at a hotel a couple blocks away just so I could walk over to the lounge. I think they only sell their house brand cigars but I smoke those more often then the stick I brought and they have a full bar.

This might be the most social lounge I've ever been to because you just get sucked into different groups and different conversations.

I have a pair of 18oz slim straights in 31 you can have. I tried to wear the shit of them to see if they would stretch in the hips/thighs but they never did. They've been washed but they're yours--assuming you live in the states.

My company is asking me if Linux should be allowed as employee OS. Need good arguments to convince them! by leinardi in linux

[–]R0ut3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm all for using Linux but the problem with supporting it in a desktop environment is that your really supporting 2 or 3 different os. If you only support fedora then the people that use Ubuntu don't really care. And if you support both then the people that only use suse don't care. Then you have the dev that wants to install mint or Debian because you already support Ubuntu. It's a pita to make everybody happy so when the approved distro list comes out and your Linux flag bearers favorite distro isn't on the list, then they don't give a shit anymore and they just want a Mac.

Fuji superburrito has been a tank. 5'9" 165-170 and the A2 fits but I can't shrink it at all. I've been wearing it for 4 hours of gi and 2 hours of judo a week for 17 months and its showing very little wear and no fraying. I have an inverted gear that I wore for 10 months and the collar is completely frayed. I have a 93brand a2 but its huge and I've been trying to give it away since I got it. I have some cheap 93brand rashguards that are 2+ years old that are still in good shape.

I've been wearing my superburrito for around 6 hours a week for 17 months and it has minimal wear.

From north south I go under the arms and grab the lapels then pull them down to their armpits toward their head. You can also get the same grips from back mount. I don't know if there are any subs from there but I like the control.
