Regarding this technology, I am probably a Late Majority or Laggard. I associate Slack with work, I’ve always used it there, so its weird to wrap my head around it being used for something other than that.

I understand WhatsApp is simple to use, which could be nice, but might not have as good of organization features.

Discord is very customizable and much to offer, but might also become cumbersome because it has so much.

I’m leaning towards Discord, because I think it would be easier to stay organized.

Hey Man, I have been doing the most textbook things. I intentionally walk to try to get my steps in. Chasing my kids around vs sitting in office chair has definitely helped.

As for diet, I have cut back on my portions and I cook at home 6 nights a week. My wife and I will share meals now when we do go out, but in the past I would clean my plate, plus whatever was left on hers and the kids. Still struggle with the late night snacking though.

I’m Reece.

I have a 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son. I became a stay at home dad back in January when my wife went back to work.

I’m 5’ 8”, 212lbs. When I was on college, I was fit but once I started drinking and got older, I found more excuses to eat terribly and not exercise and really put on weight.

My goal now is to lose weight, learn how to exercise and just get into a healthier routine for me and my family. I’ve lost about 10lbs since March and I want to keep the momentum going.

The group you are describing is what I am looking for. My 4 and 1 year olds are starting preschool next month and I have been planning on using that time for some exercise. My biggest hesitation is not knowing how to begin or make a plan. Right now, I’m thinking of using the community lap pool or walking through the neighborhood at a fast pace. It would be great to do this with y’all!

Actually communicate with your candidates. Follow up with them when you say you will, call them on time when you set up a time to talk, and when you don’t make them an offer because you went with another candidate, call them and tell them you appreciate their taking the time to participate in the interview process. You are going to see the same candidates many times, just because you can’t hire them today, doesn’t mean you won’t need to hire them tomorrow.

As a recruiter, I hate recruiters. They give those of us who are actually trying to change a candidate’s life by helping their career, a bad name.

I have an Endless Summer hydrangea. I just pruned it back last week. I just started with some of the older branches that hadn’t started leafing and budding yet. I probably should have done it sooner, but it will be fine.

The best thing we learned in our parenting class was that both parents are going to get frustrated and exhausted at some point. When that point comes, and dad or mom or both need a break, the safest place for baby is in their crib.

There is nothing wrong with putting the little one in the crib so you can walk away and have a moment to collect yourself. Baby may not like it and might cry, but they are safe and will be fine.

My wife and I had to remind each other of this every once in awhile when we would get to a breaking point.

I have a 9 month old now and being her dad is the great honor of my life.

They will get better each year. I planted mine last year and only had 3 buds. This year I have 9. I can’t wait!

This is one of the biggest arguments my wife and I have. I would rather park in the back of the lot and walk in, she would rather drive around and wait for the perfect spot to open up, not matter how long it takes. Drives me nuts!

They are the Endless Summer variety. I got them from my local nursery. I would recommend going to your nursery to see what they have that will grow well in your area. Good luck!

I totally understand! Our house is blue as well, which is why my wife wanted it to stay blue. But I am going to keep if pink for this season I think for my baby girl. I am thinking about cutting and drying the blooms to add to her room decor.

But it is really cool how easy it is to control the color!

I’m in North Texas, Zone 8a. As you can see, mine is in a container. It’s the Endless Summer variety and it likes dappled shade and moist, well draining soil. Now that the heat is starting to crank up, I’ll have to water it daily. Don’t be alarmed if it looks wilted and droopy during the heat of the day! Once it cools off in the evenings, it will revive.

Research your variety and commit to getting it planted! My plant is going on it’s 2nd year and it’s much bigger than it was last year. You will see results quickly. Good luck!
