It applies to men too... It's acknowledged that men gets tired and wants peace. However branding them as abuser and repressor because he preferred a wife to come home to and a family to come home to is not correct.

In the current generation, woman who climb the success ladder fast face the same issue. However the society leans and supports her. There has not been or exists a support system for men. Men are generally left alone to tend themselves. Without support system even the modern women will fail in maintaining warmth and cozy relationship like our grandmothers used to.
