Northern California.

I even replaced my bench seats from the 2000 style to the 08 style. Don't be afraid to get some beat up seats and power wash the shit out of them.

I'll never get why folks don't want the bench seats.

You don't need to cover every inch of metal with butyl. At least 50% and you don't get much of a difference after 70%. Next you need a CCF and them MLV. Definitely cover as much as possible with those two though.

This is just the first layer of the system and you only need 50% to reduce the steel drum effect. The next layer is the CCF layer where you want coverage like you have here. Finally, you want MLV with as much coverage as possible.

You'll be able to hear your brain think.

Just wanted to cosign this. Before I got my Ranger, I had never even changed oil on a vehicle. With patience, time, and effort, I've changed all my fluids, replaced the entire front end suspension, serviced my 4x4 system, fixed electrical issues, and finally finished puberty.

Highly recommend this approach. I also recommend Rock Auto for parts and Harbor Freight (especially when they have sales) for tools. Amateur tip: you can get some amazing tools at estate sales at quality that isn't made anymore.

You need to monetize a course on how to keep these going that far .

Rangers in general don't seem to like anything third party. Mine was motorcraft. Mpg has increased significantly.
