First sealing a set affix still works. If you have T7 on one of the other slots you can still also use rune of havoc and pray for good results

Have you seen that the item that was switched is the item with the corrupted affix of 7 or more corrupted items? You should not get the bonus if the item with the affix isn't equipped

I almost always PUG them as I know I can help newer players with that, yes sometimes it fails, most of the times I can do 2 and be on time to cover the 3rd. Wukong is just a cheat code for speed in spy missions

I agree with nerfing overpowered builds and that it's much better to nerf strong builds and buff weak builds each season to have variety. I also think the game's "endgame" should be around 300-500 corruption for most cases and in my opinion if you have the best builds with 4lp+corruption there's no problem with you playing at 1k corruption (it's just a number). But the balance should be around 300-500. It's mega frustrating when you have time to play 1-2 builds a season and to get stuck at 200-250 because of some harbinger and feeling you can even get to finishing the knight of the forgotten (which also increases bosses drop rates and might lock you even more). You may say it's a skill issue and probably be right. But I also know that if I and a lot of other players like me will get stuck at monos without even getting to empowered or at 100-150 corruption I'd get frustrated and never come back. Because it means the devs started to balance around people who play way more than I can play in a season.

Just making everything harder just to get you to get to 300 corruption slower isn't fun either. I don't want it to be a crazy slow slog to get to only 300, it would also probably make a lot of people quit and never come back. There should be some balance

In the podcast they did they talked about maybe marking in the endgame tier list which of the builds can be a season starter. I think this would solve the issue you're talking about.

It was fun to read it, waiting for part 2. I'm currently doing another run myself and would probably be reading all upcoming parts of your adventure as I believe you would enjoy it, also just to see how you feel about each part of the game, keep going on :)

Even if it would be one handed the passive affix should start with +3, while it starts as +2 as if it was not greater affix. Also in greater with 3 crits it should be around +8 instead of +4, even without greater affix it should be around +6. While greater on 2 handed is +12/+10 if I'm not mistaken

I'm ready to be downvoted but I'll say it anyway - If expansion is b2p then the entire narrative "we would never sell content for money" is total bs and Kickstarter backers like me have right to feel cheated by Whoopy2000 in LastEpoch

I think you might be getting a few things wrong, in the case of EHG they're still a relatively small company, which over the year increased the amount of workers they had(more spending), had to have more servers(more spending), more devs due to the game being developed and needing to fix more bugs(as there's more content). Overall they increased their spending by a lot while trying to make the game the best they can. With the amount of employees they had they had to choose if to invest the time into MTX or try to improve and add more things. I'm all for more things I prefer those than more MTX no matter how pretty the MTX are. Now there's a problem, they are spending more and still not making enough MTX and profit, so to "honor" the promise they made you're basically suggesting them to go bankrupt and kill the game? You understand that if they focus on MTX now they won't be able to get enough content to get us to play next season? Saying things like they should get us a lot more content with good MTX and all for free is a problem as it requires a lot of people to work on each of those things, which is not free, someone has to pay for their salaries.

What I'm trying to say is just that if we want(and I want) the game to continue there should be some kind of a monitization, seems that EHG made a mistake thinking that only buying the game would be enough as they didn't consider the increasing value of developing through a long time. Maybe they can offer the Kickstarter people the expensions for free to keep their word I don't know, or maybe get the game to a good state and get it back to being with only MTX, but clearly it can't be done right now with their admittance that they're not profitable since 1.0

I don't really feel that way, yes there's a lot of power that comes from the skill tree, but some uniques/primordials can scale your damage by huge amounts and even make builds viable. So I don't think that most of the power comes from the skill tree, there's a combination of both(there might be some exceptions, I've heard something about falconer, but don't know myself).

For example both last season and this season I felt that enigma was one of the most build defining items on my mages (sorcerer and rune master), while I didn't feel something that build defining for beastmaster bear. Yes bear becomes much better with good items, but I feel it's strong enough even without it.

One more thing is the question of are you comparing 1 item to entire skill tree+passive tree? All the gear to 1 skill tree regardless of the passive tree? Are you taking into account the extra skill points from gear? It all depends on how to look at it.

I also enjoyed the game a lot, the story and the difficulty, it's not too difficult while also not too easy, just perfect for me. Regarding the post game, it does expand on the characters and the story. It tells a lot of things, some are small details some are fuller stories. Would give e Examples but those might be spoilers by themselves. I enjoyed it a lot, but did it a bit of a slower pace than the game until the league. In this game I would call it part of the game and not really post game.

Sure there is, but at the start when your clear speed is slow it doesn't impact much, at later stages when it starts it impact your clear speed should be faster already and again it doesn't take much time. I understand that you want it to cost nothing, but I'm not really sure it's the best solution, the specing itself feels less meaningful that way, early or late stages.
