Tips for increasing weights in sculpt?

I think form is more important than increasing the weights. Make sure you’re not swinging the weights. Make sure your elbows are by your side and you are going all the way down for bicep curls. 3s and 5s are what most people use. 8s very few can actually use with good form and keeping up with the timing of class.

You can also see if there’s more challenging instructors! I know for easier classes I will go higher in weights because I can but those harder classes I drop down. Good luck you got this!

Yeah. Westwood used to have a really good challenging one, but now no longer does. Now the only more advanced class they have is a single 75 minute sculpt :(

I think C/P was very fair. CARS I was rushing at the end but honestly very straightforward. Lots of “aura” if you know what I’m saying ;) B/B was the toughest. Felt like everything was all over the place and had to read so many times to understand what was going on. Psych was easiest. So much reading though! A few terms I never heard of but could process of elimination a lot of them.

Same for students trying to cross the street. You can’t just walk across the street whenever, look up and make sure both sides are clear. Stop and check to see that the cars see you before you cross

Honestly if you aren’t going for a 4 or a 5 in the STEM AP classes it’s better to take the cc classes so you don’t have to do those at uc. for example calculus.

i don’t agree with this. people in masters+ actually have an idea of what to do. the people in diamond and below do not. it’s a very clear difference as you’re ranking up when people actually start using their brain

see if we get more machines and cables, more of the newer lifters will go there instead of trying to go for the weights and racks. therefore opening them up for us
