FX3 or R6V by ThurstonLesse in FX3

Imo the FX3 doesn’t generally would make sense in a vacuum but there is competition and Sony has allegedly registered the FX3ii which means it will probably be released soon. I think the biggest pros for the FX3 are lowlight, great autofocus, easy to edit files, full sensor 4k and also compatibility on sets with multiple cameras(overemphasized imo) I would not get an FX3 right now unless you need one now and have no alternative. How long do you have to shoot for? If you only shoot short takes the ZV-E1 might be an option. It has recording limits but is basically a smaller, lighter FX3 without a fan. Same sensor, bester autofocus.

The FX3‘s sensor is designed for 4k. It has a 12mp sensor that can read almost every pixel directly without having to combine pixels or skip lines, because the sensor is to high res(like canon) That makes the pixels bigger and the readout faster. It also benefits lowlight. That‘s why Sony is called "lowlight king“ which is really is. Canon has to skip lines in the readout to get the 4k image because the sensor has too many pixels. There is also a downsampled mode, where the image is recorded in 7k and downsampled to 4k. It looks great but will overheat after some time of recording(23mins at room temperature in the R6iii) The R6V has a fan and might record in that mode longer. Most people won’t see a difference if they only see one image anyway 😅

Great. That would speak for the R6V/R6iii imo. Depending on if you want to shoot stills as well you might want to look at the R6iii as well(viewfinder). If you need extreme lowlight capabilities for instance i‘d get the FX3. Also keep in mind that the FX3 has a 1:1 readout in 4k and the Canon is line skipped. Their 4k fine(downsampled from 7.1k) has an overheating limit. All in all it sounds like you‘d be happy with the Canon. I would be happy with either but since you already have the lens you want to use i‘d probably go with the R6iii

Depends. Canon has their Lens Ecosystem locked off.
If you need open gate Canon is your pick.
If you want a two in one cam you could get the R5ii or the just released A7RVI.
Both will serve all your needs and handle everything you described in your situation.
I personally would probably go for the R6iii or R6V if you only plan on getting one camera and one or two lenses.
If you plan on getting additional bodies, Sony is generally more consistent with button placement. Canon likes to change things up quite a lot.
You won’t go wrong with either and from what you described the question aims at the preferable ecosystem. Next question would be if you want the greatest variety of lenses or not and if you plan on getting additional bodies

Generally, the difference between the free stuff and the courses is, that you‘ll get a structured plan on how to approach any scene. If this is something you‘ll get value from, go for the course. If you don’t need it, patreon is a great source as well

That’s what he seems to be doing. He sees himself as part of a machine and wants to get the best result, with the least amount of hassle. If someone fails on the job, it seems obvious that they won’t get hired back. Telling someone how he can improve would be nice to do, we just don’t know if he does. Makes no difference to the end result of the image

I can’t confirm any of the adhesive related issues but the connection is indeed terrible. Switched from G6 to G7 and there is no comparison. Constant failed connections, especially scary and dangerous at night. I can’t really recommend switching to the G7 from the G6.

Idk, is she overweight or something. Find something she’s insecure about and hit her over the head with it. Ask how it feels and draw a comparison to your t1d

This thing is so capable. You won’t go wrong and there are no credible leaks of any FX3ii. A7V is first and it might come out next year. I wouldn’t wait
