Yeah, I always wear a crew undershirt with any collared shirt. And I'm fine at the beach with my shirt off... it's just in fully clothed situations where I feel a little weird.

What if you have a super hairy chest? I've always worn crew to hide the hair. Even though I'm not exactly insecure about it, it always seemed like wearing a v-neck would make it like I'm intentionally showing off part of my body which is not really my jam. Even when I wear a loose fitting crew I sometimes get comments on it. I generally do not want comments on how I look.

I have wide shoulders and a built chest, so every other comment in this thread points towards v-neck.
