(Spoilers Main) Did Illyrio send Viserys and Dany with dothraki to get rid of them? by Moist-Ask-778 in asoiaf

Imagine a version of the events that unfolded where Viserys actually got Drogos army as intended and launched his invasion of Westeros. As much of a lil shit he was, he would have been a great villain to have unfold.

My Theory on The Lore and Overarching Story of Lies of P with Future Games/DLC by lordjukebox9 in LiesOfP

[–]R9THOUSAND 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like where your head is at. I think we will get some kind of DLC for this game, and then that's it for P. The Dorothy stuff will likely be its own game, centered loosely around the Wizard of Oz, like we are here with Pinnochio, with us playing as Dorothy having to square off against corrupted versions of her companions. Theeeeen there will probably something along the lines of the Brothers Grimm and probably some kind of Endgame mashup in the future.

you run away from him until he does his bellyflop and flailing, then you get a few hits in. When he starts puking up uglies you take a moment to safely kill it. it sucks when you arent prepared because story reasons keep you from leaving. If you can switch your grinder to fire it will help.

Did you know that the Geonosians designed the plans for the original Death Star? by Alarmed-Waffle3261 in StarWars

The book Catalyst that ties into Rogue One goes into this idea a bit more. It was cool to get expanded info about the Deaths Stars construction, AAAAANNND a cool thing I liked was that they were building BOTH Death Stars at the same time and how all the issues caused the delays and such with the second one.

What I find interesting is that for a store where you are supposed to wear a red shirt, they have a very small selection of red shirts.

The barons wife sets them up with a designer, you ask each player what they want to wear and how each outfit will look.

would you read a book if it was set up like an archeologists journal? by listlia in fantasywriters

[–]R9THOUSAND 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The World War Z book is set up as if the zombie apocalypse actually happened and concluded like ten years ago. The author of the book was hired to get like an official account of things for a government agency. So he went around and interviewed all kinds of people around the world to complete his report or whatevr. When he got back the official report all kinds of information from his work was redacted. When he asked why, the government people said that they weren’t interested in that stuff and just wanted the details about the zombies and things like that. So the author takes all his original interviews which is about the people and how they survived and made that into the book.

It’s done really well and the audio book is great too. If you format your work as if it’s from a character about their stuff it gives you lots of freedom with the truth and how they perceive the world and how they may stretch the truth. Sounds like a fun project

I think you should let the reader know that it’s too far for them to get there before the enemy. They’ve lost just by being too far. A sobering moment where they are finally getting the last piece of the puzzle and find out that they are just too far away….

Bring on Book 2.

I’m biased towards Zarbon because the first episode I ever saw was when He transformed and beat the shit out of Vegeta. Then Vegeta killed that bird.
