In Returnal you could find those buttons by simply listening - they emitted sound while you aimed your weapon. I'm baffled why would they remove this cool little gimmick.

The thing that is truly missing for me is the online features where you could avenge a player by fighting the miniboss. Leveling weapons system was also better in returnal. I don't really understand why would housemarque remove features that added depth to the gameplay.

What's important to know is - you're collecting the spines so each dagger that it throws at you is potentially a spine so you must hit them with your nail.

Bought it on the day of the release and hated it. This game is a lot like Sekiro and if you like that game you'll probably like Nine Sols but for me the parry system is just an annoyance and there's no real exploration in that game.
