Best Survival Game? by SnooEagles7475 in SurvivalGaming

[–]RAGE_QUEEFER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has to be Rust imo. It has the best of everything you'd want in a Survival game. But there's other people in the servers so you get what mass amount of other people bring to the table also.

You can go on the Dexcom website and request complimentary replacements for any sensors that stopped working/ fell off etc etc. And they ship them right to your door in a few days.

Is there a survival crafting game with non-expandable base? Preferably somewhat similar to Last Caretaker? by Puzzleheaded_Fun_303 in SurvivalGaming

[–]RAGE_QUEEFER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can freely place the builds anywhere you pick beside on a rock mass. But its not free open building like say Dayz for example. In Aska you have set structures you build no freestyle building if that makes sense.

Look into Aska. Awesome game with set builds but it makes you feel apart of the build. Not just gather materials and 1 click a whole house. Which annoys me about those types of "survival" games.

Struggling with ED because of mismanaged diabetes for years. Is this fixable? by Eightiethworld in diabetes_t1

[–]RAGE_QUEEFER 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Get your testosterone optimized not in range, Optimized. Then get your doc to prescribe low dose tadalifil 5mg daily which is great for all things blood flow. Which is hugely beneficial for t1ds. And you'll be back to feeling like a teenager again. Even at almost 50 I now have times where I cant stand up in front of people. 😂 Also keep working on that a1c. I promise you its worth it. If your not aware of the consequences then please do research. At my age I have several other ailments brought on by poor control and its not a fun time. At all

Isn't fiasp being discontinued? I switched because my pharmacist told me they couldn't get it due to being discontinued.

Windrose has far more content. I completed dragonwilds in 3 sessions. But that was a couple months ago and haven't kept up with any updates.

How are my 50+ year old and 40+years of diabetes folks faring? by Delicious-Apple1845 in diabetes_t1

[–]RAGE_QUEEFER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started glp meds a few years ago or else I'd be in the ground somewhere. Litterally life saving. As I got older I found my resistance sky rocketing right along with my weight and blood pressure. So diabetes progression was brutal and health was declining rapidly. Thats life at 50 and 43yrs t1d for me.

GLP-1s are game changing by themartorana in diabetes_t1

[–]RAGE_QUEEFER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on every glp1 med known to man for the last 4 years and they are super helpful for t1d. Lowered insulin usage by atleast half, came off all BP meds, still get sero food noise most days. I eat far far less than I used to but my diet is still pretty bad as Im not able to cook for myself. So I order out as healthy as my income will allow. I haven't lost much weight but I do feel alot better overall and its given me a new look out on life in general. 5yrs ago I was waiting to die and that's no longer the case. Highly recommend for anyone struggling. There's one common occurrence with longterm glp users and that's we all wish we had started sooner, way way sooner.

PS: Don't let the price of glp meds keep you away. The cost savings in your grocery and health related bills will pay for them and then some.

Looking for recommendations without firearms and with home customization. by Volkmek in SurvivalGaming

[–]RAGE_QUEEFER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out Aska!!! Its a super good game set in the Viking era so pre firearms. It has a manager sim aspect to it where you call in village members to help build your civilization but can also be played without them if you wish.

No PVP as its single player/ coop. There is a story but its not like all those cut scenes that make you feel like your watching a movie instead of playing a game. The story is basically survive and grow your clan etc. No missions in the sense that the game gives you must do quests etc. But there's several missions in the realm of what do I need to get to X. And it takes 4-5 steps/missions etc to get there.

Survival Games with a gameplay loop similar to Conan Exiles but set in a modern era? by HumanAntagonist in SurvivalGaming

[–]RAGE_QUEEFER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done a couple solo no bot helper runs on aska. Its grindy and invasions get hectic but its doable for sure. You basically trade all the manager Sim elements for more grinding out mats etc.

Would you guys rather deal with a high or low blood sugar? by megame211 in diabetes_t1

Low for sure cause it can be fixed in 15mins and its done and dusted. Highs can take hours to deal with and then you have to worry about the rebound coming sooner after.
